I think it depends on team needs. Avs might value Bennett more cause he's younger.

Our third pair has a massive hole the the left hand spot. If Brodie or Gio goes down in the stretch or the playoffs for an extended period we would be ####ed. I think we should really get some insurance for the left side.

Yeah Oduya would be a good fit here. I would have even preferred him over Stone but getting both would be even better.

Yup Oduya can easily play on the top 4 in case of injury and like Brodie he is able to play both sides comfortably.

How many points did Eberle have as a 20 year old? Maybe by the time Bennett is 26-27 years old and has 6 years in the league then he will be a 60 point player.

Eberle "accomplished" that with first line minutes and powerplay time. I don't think comparing the two guys without context is realistic. Eberle has been spoon fed time since he came into the league and has regressed ever since his second season. Bennett has been put into rolls to learn what needs to be done.

Personally I would keep the younger guy who has produced more at this point of his career and is getting better than the one who has done nothing too impressive in his. Eberle played half the season with McJesus and has 13 goals this year, contemplate that for a couple minutes.
