I think Vladar's cap hit would be tough to absorb for anyone, so would be at low risk of being picked up. If we've seen the market values of cap space (4th round pick for 25% of Tanev retention), hard to see he's worth more than that.
However they can get Wolf into the lineup as often as possible down the stretch, I'm all for. 3 goaltenders on roster, Vladar waived, just need to see more Wolf.

It'd be hilarious if Conroy traded all his assets to competing teams in the west.

Did Dreger also repeat the ownership blocked a Markstrom trade story?

Lebrun was the Flames true insider while Treliving was here.
I think Dreger might be the new Flames true insider while Nonis is in Calgary. I will be taking his tweets a lot more seriously now.

SEC, anymore in the lead you had yesterday before the Hanifin deal? You’d mentioned it wasn’t Hanifin related. Someone said it wasn’t Marky related either but I don’t recall seeing a post from you saying that. Just curious if the one you’d heard about is still a hot iron in the fire.

L.A is on Markstroms rumored preferred list as well so...
Still think Mangiapane gets before noon p.s.t tomorrow.

Hoping Mangiapane, Markstrom and Rooney (and Greer too I guess) are all traded by tomorrow

Yeah. If he repeated that story then I’d believe it more than Seravelli. Although he has been bang on so far

I doubt Dreger would repeat that one though...doubt Maloney / Edwards would like that one coming from Dreger when they know his relationship with Nonis.

Yeah, true enough. Overall, Seravelli might be the best in the business right now. Wasn't Bob McKenzie his mentor? Not a bad guy to learn from and gain your sources.

Yeah. I think someone was confusing Dreger and Seravelli when someone mentioned it to me.

Do we know for a fact that there is no lottery protection on that 2026 1st rounder?

I had a dream last night that Calgary sent Markstrom to Carolina for two 1sts, DeAngelo and Nadeau. I was sad when I woke up and realized it was only a dream.

Seravalli is actually a rather impressive individual. Graduated from Columbia. He has been the president of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association (PHWA) since he was only around 30. And now he appears on dozens of podcasts and shows.
But boy, he has a lot of negative takes on the Flames.
