That sucks, he's a great player. What the hell is Warner doing in the game?

Same reason Favre and Peterson are still in there.

Which is silly, this one's toast and they are risking a lot for nothing. Does Childress know that screen passes tend to slow down a pass rush?

Not anymore they aren't.
Last year they clearly were, but that was a lot of an inexperienced team clinching the division too early and coasting into the playoffs.
This year they started off kinda slow, but they've now won 7 of their last 9. Arizona is a damn good football team and no more up and down than any other team in the league.

That is the worst onside kick I have ever seen. Horrendous.

Well I guess was referring to the bad home losses more than anything. I think they are the second best team in the NFC.

Only if it's the NFC Championship game. He seems to be fine in the first couple games in the playoffs.

I could actually see a repeat of last year's NFC Championship game happening. The Cards have the offense to keep pace with the Saints, and a very good defense. If the Eagles get the third seed, I could see them beating Minnesota.

I'm going to first wait for the Eagles to make the playoffs.
While NO, Minn, and Arz (because of their division) are locks, if the Eagles lose to the Giants next week, they'll be in a dog fight to make it into the dance.
In the AFC: When did the Steelers become so bad??

I must say the Colts might be in trouble locking up home field so early if they do in fact win next week at home but the last 5 weeks they've had to play some really desperate football teams really needing a win. I don't think the Broncos can be overlooked necessarily but if the Colts were to win and thus lock up home field, it be very interesting to see the kind've team they'd play in a short week going on the road against the Jags. With how banged up the Colts have been I could see them playing it pretty safe with a lot of defensive players. If they do beat the Broncos then go and beat Jacksonville Thursday, the Colts go 16-0 in my mind.
19-0 sure would be sweet but in my mind it wouldn't be the worst thing to beat the Broncos sunday and then lose against the Jags Just be able to focus on the playoffs and not the 19-0 talk that would come with it

I'm treating our game as a throw away. No expectations. As long as the Broncos win their home games they are going to be in IMO.
That said, I want to see the Broncos be super aggressive against the Colts early and try to get a big lead. Pull out all the stops. Let it all hang out. Any other cliche that fits.
I think if the Broncos can steal this game against Indy they will win the division. I do not see the Chargers winning out.

MNF...at Lambeau, on the frozen tundra with game time conditions expected to be snowing and below freezing.
Normally that would be a good thing for the Packers, but Im not so sure with the Ravens in town. Ray rice has been an animal of late and the running game will be relied on heavily if the conditions are as expected, though Ryan Grant has started to look like he can get it done the last couple games.
Huge game for both teams at any rate.

I totally cringed when I saw that, there's no way that the bone wasn't powdered.
When I broke my let years ago the first thing I wanted to do is puke, I'm always amazed at how stoic these guys are when it comes to pain.
If I broke my leg like that 50,000 football fans would hear me crying for my mama.
