The Cardinals could sure be a dangerous team in the playoffs. There defence has impressed me and there offence can be as explosive as any.
Not to say he hasn't been good this season but now it's easy to see why for a lot of us it's just Brees and Manning when it comes to the MVP debate

Not sure if anyone else has posted this but here is something from Adam Schefter's tweets:

John Saunders points out that Bruce Gradkowski's three fourth-quarter TD passes in Pitt were one more than Jamarcus Russell threw this year.

Can you explain those 5 words in your post? Why is it easy to see now?

Wow, two non-called personal fouls against Arizona in a row. How does that happen?

If Peterson can't run the ball the Vikings offence has struggled. To me it simply shows how much more valuable Brees and Manning are to there perspective teams.
This is all the same defence that Manning lit up on Monday Night Football in Arizona too.

I think you need to go back and look at some Vikings box scores. Peterson has gone over 100 yards exactly 3 times this year.
You make it sound like he doesn't even deserve mention for the award. I disagree.

Excuse me for saying Peterson but this is a Vikings team that is in the top 10 in rushing, something Manning has not even come close to having the luxury of.
I'm not calling out Brett Favre or saying he doesn't deserve a ton of credit to the Vikings success this year but I simply think tonight is a good example of just how more Peyton specifically is so much more valuable team. Especially going against a defence that when he faced them he had no trouble with.

Fair enough. I thought your first post was just a tad harsher than that.

and there's a no-call on a personal foul against the Vikings. I guess the refs in this game aren't calling PF's.

Perhaps now it's "easy" to see was a bit too much on my part Dis.
Looks like the Cardinals are going to hold on and all but lock up home field for the Saints. As much as I think the Saints can really struggle when on the road, it's not going to matter and looking at the rest of the NFC I just can't see a team going into that dome and winning.

Completely agree. As long as the Saints don't give the ball away they should be fine in the friendly confines of the dome.

I find a team like Philly can be extremely dangerous. Just something about them. They might not be consistent or play well every single week but they're wily. It only takes one game and they could go into NO and win. I think they're the only NFC team that could.

EJ Henderson is clearly done for the year. Big loss for the Vikings. That was painful to watch.

They could, but Andy Reid will find some way to screw it up.

I wonder if Collinsworth still thinks the Vikings are the best team in football? Nice job by the Cards D line tonight, stuffed the run and have been all over Favre. Arizona is such a bipolar team, but I sure like them tonight.

Hard to tell if it was broken leg or a completely destroyed knee. Way more mobility in the lower leg than you ever want to see.
