I am convinced cheering for the oilers causes some kind of chemical reaction in the brain that makes you unable to see obvious things. One of my best friends is the most laid back, diplomatic, reasonable people I know. Unfortunately he's a big oilers fan. He knows how much I hate the oilers, we try not to razz each other too much.
Anyways this playoffs I've obviously take the role of cheering for any team they play against. I'm pointing out the absolutely dirty antics of the oilers last game, dirtier than a lot of games, and he has an illogical response for how FLA is dirtier and equates a missed trip of an oiler by Ekblad to being as bad as things Kane and Frederic are doing. He makes zero sense, and logical arguments about how bad Kane, Perry and Frederic are don't stick. I'd say it's something in the water but he lives in Calgary...
