I don't know, I'd love to have a boss like Trump. Just kiss his ass and stay in the shadows and you can probably do what you want.

But he's volatile, unpredictable, vengeful, can take drastic turns on how he feels about an idea, and even his lawyers started to only take meetings with him in 2's because he would call people liars that suggested he said something he then later disliked, or didn't believe.
Either way, this man is a nightmare to work with.

I'm also in "don't make silly statements" mode. I think a lot of you guys are just bashing on Trump because it's the "thing to do" rather than actually hate on him. I mean, sure anyone can foam at the mouth with their Trump anger and SAY Trump is an idiot with low IQ or narcissistic personality disorder, or what-have-you. Unless you can prove it, or at least show a link please try to show a little restraint. Trump provides us enough hyperbole and alternative facts, we don't need his critiques to be mired in the same.
So let's look at what he's been up to- he is running this government exactly how he runs his businesses. He hires experts in their field (experts according to his other experts he's already hired...). Whether or not you politically agree or not, doesn't matter, this is how he is doing things.
I stand corrected on the "smartness" thing. As said above, I think he must have a strange idea of what smartness is.

I think this is an example of how it's easy to hate something from afar

what? experts in their field? Bannon? Devos? Kushner?
how are they experts in their field?
or do you mean all of the goldman sachs people?
If you asked Trump who was smarter, him or Bannon, what do you think his answer would be?

You've been left to stand corrected multiple times.
Instead of taking it upon yourself to be the arbiter of truth and good taste, you could realise that while the reactions are charged, what inspires them are real, idiotic, deeply questionable and potential dangerous actions and attitudes.
To dismiss "hating" on Trump as "the thing to do" is laughable. Sometimes popular opinions are popular for a good reason: they're in line with reality.
Unless you forgot, he's the President of the United States. Whether or not people agree with his politics is exactly what matters.

So how does Trump reconcile the fact that no right leaning news sites/organizations picked up on these alleged terrorist attacks? Are they just terrible at what they do?

White House is going to provide a list of terrorist attacks that Trump claims the media did not cover. Spicer inserts the necessary wiggle room, "We’ll provide a list later. There’s several instances... There’s a lot of instances that have occurred where I don’t think they’ve gotten the coverage it deserved," by referring to coverage it deserved rather than Trump's claim of no coverage. Trump remains silent on the Quebec incident.

They're going to find instances of a shooting involving a brown man and call it terrorism.
And it's going to be an intern's job to go through the records and find names matching Mohammed/Abdul/Khadar/Hussein/[BrownSoundingName]

I think you don't have any idea what you're talking about and shouldn't impute motives to others unless you're willing to accept others imputing motives to you.
Hey, did you guys know Redvan is a paid shill for Brietbart? That's what I think, anyway. Can't blame a man for his opinion.

Not surprising at all. It's remarkable how often people swing from one end of the political spectrum to the other - ardent ideologues of both the left and right share so many personality traits.

As someone who teaches US History, seeing any state google "Who is Frederick Douglass" makes my heart hurt. That's it's Alabama, however, is not surprising.

This is what I want people to stop doing. Unless you are backing up your opinion you shouldn't be allowed to say things like "he has a mental illness" etc.
Provide facts to back up your statements or you are no better than Trump and his.
