What he meant though is you can stack multiple contracts on a player but not once they have 16 left.

example... I signed Neimi with an 8 contract to get to 15 left and then a 11 contract to get to 26.

If I had used the 11 contract first he would have had 18 left on his contract and I wouldn't have been able to add the 8 contract to his 18 games left.

I see they haven't fixed the glitch where if you have an injured player unable to play, you can just replace their position with the various scratched players you have and eventually the injured player gets switched back into the lineup.

Both Jokinen and Tanguay were injured for several weeks in my playoff mode, and I put them both back into the lineup at their original rating.

Anyone have problems playing Drop-in games? When I select it just sits there with the hourglass forever.

So I am playing Be A Pro because suddenly that mode is much more fun in this years version.

And guess what.

I effed my leg a real bad. In spectacular fashion.

I get wiped out periodically playing online and in Be A Pro, but I really like it. It brings so much more authenticity to the game when you get obliterated trying to cut across the middle, or placing a wrister in the slot. That is where you have to go to score with consistency, and that is the price you have to pay.

just had my first review for kicking the puck in the net. no goal!

had seen nothing but high stick rulings, so was cool to see the kicking was looked at as well.

That's the only one I've gotten so far was a kick in. Thought it was pretty cool. I thought they only called back high sticks.

Im done with HUT. Sick of lame disconnections and automatically losing even though i was winning.

Be a GM here I come.
Maybe i will try BAP, Havn't liked it in the past.

Did they add Mike Modano to the game?? Can't find him anywhere. Want to put him on Detroit. Checked the FA list, Stars and the american national team but no luck...

connect to an online game. it will download the roster update. that will take care of lots of the recent nhl movement.

also, i recall hearing he was on the west all star team. perhaps that is where they kept him so they wouldnt lose him if he stayed?

i am enjoying hut and am only playing single player. still get the fun factor of building the without the s online and the connection problems.

Connection problems in HUT occur even if you're playing single player games. Everything is sync'd to EA's servers, and you suffer the same penalties when you get disconnected.

A glitch I noticed when I was playing online..I had a delayed penalty, the puck went up in the air in my own zone and my player automatically batted it down the ice, the whistle didnt blow, the puck didnt go in the wide open net, but it could of.

ah, didnt think of that. i have played 11 games offline and havent had any problems thankfully.

Yeah, unfortunately this has been going on for years. You can poke check the puck too and it's not a penalty. Used this to score a few goals in previous years

I just had the sweetest glitch ever. If I had my third line forwards on with my 1st pairing, then a player would go for a line change and I would have 2 goalies in net. It made up for the disconnect later in that game and the game before.

I played a game today where a guy kept hip checking me every time with/without the puck and would not get a penalty. My guy would fly over him but nothing... was extremely annoying.

Has anybody else notice that offsides aren't very accurate this year? I've had the CPU take a number of pucks out of the zone and it wasn't whistled. The worst part is the CPU scored the game winning goal on what should have been an offisde call.
