Honestly it's not going to happen.
Tkachuk and Bennett are two of the highest picks in Flames history that are having playoff success for another team while they are still in their prime.
It would be ridiculous to expect a Calgary Flames fan site to not be talking about that and just focusing on the series

It's also ridiculous for the same guy to continue beating the Huberdeau is the worst and most unlikeable player in Flames history.
The trade isn't finished yet these guys will play again next season.

Damn. Good job Panthers. I want to see a Panthers/Knights final. Solely because that means the Leafs and Oilers will both lose this round. But also I want to see Vegas, Florida, Dallas, and Carolina advance just to see all the people who think hockey shouldn't be in the southern states heads explode.

TBH this annoys me the most.
He was never the guy he was this year for Florida with the Flames, it's my personal opinion and people won't agree with me but I don't think he ever truly gave 100% for the Flames. He always had one foot out the door and always planned to leave as soon as he could.

I’m just pissed off that he didn’t play like this for the Flames in the playoffs. This is night and day not even the same player. Can’t blame it on Sutter as he was pedestrian for three other Flames coaches in the playoffs.

I said many times that Tkachuk would have a career after Gio left. and he did... just not in the playoffs.
But holy is he an effing unicorn this year.

Well part of that was he was creating the leverage he needed to get out on his terms...and it still wasn't the same as this year.
For large parts of last year he was the third most important piece on that line. His natural skill would shine through but he was the beneficiary of just how great that line was together.
This year he is the sole driver of offence and lots of time he is single handedly generating it. Also playing a more mature game and more substance with how he uses his agitation opposed to it being more for show in Calgary.
And it's a whole other level in the playoffs now.

Tkachuk is also just concentrating on the game and not as much on the ####-disturbing. Helps if you don't break your hand in the first period of the playoffs too.
