Seems odd if the Flames chose not have them participate. These are two important pieces, both with question marks and limited opportunities to work with . I would have thought they would want to have an on-ice update of their progress, esp. with a new GM.
Not concerned about it, just curious

I still think the Flames keep Monahan and Gaudreau together, and create possible Bennett / Baertschi combo. Of course, this having not seen Bennett and Gaudreau together, so who knows how this all shakes out. Regardless of how lines emerge, I think we can all agree that the combinations WILL be epic, and very exciting.

I really hope Wolf has enough skill to sustain himself as a regular NHLer on a 3rd line, because if so, the guy could become our next Ville Nieminen with that kind of attitude.
