Anyone watch The North Water? I binged all five episodes over the weekend and I really enjoyed it. Colin Farrell was outstanding. It has some similar vibes to The Terror but without the supernatural aspect.

I realize I'm the exception but I really enjoyed the last season of Lost and the finale. I thought the side-ways universe where they re-find each other was really interesting.
You're not the only one. Lost worked for me all the way through. Up to and including the finale which I found to be kind of a cool way for the characters to reunite.
But yeah, we are in the distinct minority.

Saw this post and so I decided to see if there is a season 2 planned, and it looks like it was just announced like 30 minutes ago.
Would have been impossible to wrap things up in one more episode. If they only just announced season 2 though, I hope we aren't looking at one of those 18-24 month waits.
The season finale raised a bunch of questions without giving any answers. I still think it's a great show and I look forward to season two.
What gives me hope is this was clearly created with the intent of multiple seasons, unlike shows that have to scramble for content for their second season, this one clearly has a plan (albeit a slowly developing one). Nothing wrong with some mystery, if it’s engaging which this certainly is

I thought the season finale was pretty awesome, and while there are still many unanswered questions, there was a significant advance in the story. Great cliffhanger too. Good lord please don’t be the summer of 2023 or something before season 2.
I'm sure a lot of people found the weird stark retro aesthetic of Severance to be unsettling, but for me it was pure Ambien until about episode 7. that is a lot of hours struggling to stay awake so I would have been pretty pissed if it didn't end with some building stakes and tension at last.
Unlike Servant, I'll commit to season 2. hopefully there will be a bit more explanation on how the very concept of severance doesn't completely fall apart in the span of 2 days for any partipicant, because I had to suspend a huge amount of disbelief just for that.
I love the colour grading, set design, wardrobe it's all perfect. Don't know if I've seen Tramell Tillman aka Milchick before but his performance is amazing the way he switches from phony nice company guy to ruthless enforcer, damn. Sometimes he's both at the same time.
