I told this to a co-worker once, and she looked at me as though I had threatened the life of a child.

Having worked in the grocery industry that was what we were told.

Speaking of, I found a box of crackers on the weekend that were best before sometime in 2012.

Quite frankly I can even imagine how they tasted in 2012, because they were DELICIOUS.

Go to take a shower and the hot water doesn't work, checked the kitchen and the sink in the bathroom and not pressure from the hot water tap.You figure when you live in a building were the service the pipes once a month it would have better water pressure.

I wonder if you live in the same building as me, same problem today. But I can hear them working away on the pipes the floor above me so I'm just assuming they've been intermittently shutting them off throughout the day.

Old buildings in Calgary seem to have this problem a lot. Ours does, as one of the two hot water apparatuses doesn't work. No issues this morning for me but if you get in there after 7am you takes you's chances.

So apparently my office building has installed new motion sensor lighting in the bathroom lights come on when you open the door, etc.

However, they don't give you much time to um, handle business. They went off about 15 seconds later. Do you know how hard it is to read in the dark?

Alright, I've had it, I am no longer clicking on any article linked from Facebook with clickbait BS headlines like "30 Things to stop doing to yourself - #10 is an absolute must" and "Seeing famous places from above is surreal - #9 shocked me". F off with that exploitative crap.

I've just blocked all links from Buzzfeed, Lifebuzz, etc using Social Fixer.

Also, if you don't use Social Fixer, you really really should.

WRGMG is that the Thai Express in my building appears to ignore any requests for the "heat" of the food - I always order spicy and when I get back to my desk, I find out there isn't a single speck of hot pepper in it at all. I ordered it extra spicy the last time I went and finally got some heat to the thing, but silly me, I thought that maybe, just maybe, I'd get some sort of heat if I went back to ordering spicy. Nope, totally bland Pad Sew AGAIN. I guess I'm going to have to start eating it in front of the damn place and sending it back.

---

I feel a bit dirty writing this, I feel Sp**ngs1-ish.

Sounds like a legit complaint to me. Is it a newer place? I find all Thai Expresses don't know what they're doing and even start grease fires!

They usually have a bottle of sriracha available, why not just add your own level of required heat?

I like the hot chili pepper spice best, but yes, that is an option, which I never think of until I'm freaking upstairs and sitting at my desk.

You can always ask them to add more as they make it, since you're standing right there.

People that complain about snow.
