Drumheller > Okotoks.
Hands down.

maybe just maybe that part of his post is correct, except for the wind in drum.
Either one is good times I am sure, plus okotoks is only 20 minute drive for me on sunday which is better that hour or so drive from drumheller , since hungover driving sucks. Not looking forward to driving home from sylvan this weekend, long weekend driving sucks!

I don't know. Shawnski seems certain we are in the Aug tourny. Perhaps I just confused poor Wanda, but I don't want to spend time organizing camping if we aren't booked.
Sounds like there is another tournament in Okotoks next weekend (free) if enough of us want to go (July 4th weekend).

BTW, I have thought about how to resolve this Battle of the Puckers.
I think you should have a best of three later in August, after the SW league is finished, and after the Central league is finished its league play. I might be able to secure on of the diamonds at JayCee park for a reasonable fee, or even free. And I can volunteer to ump.

No wind at Newcastle Beach diamonds (or very, very little over the years.) Plus we have a wind up party that same weekend. Not so at Okotoks. Been in both for many, many years. Okotoks is fun. Drumheller is a riot.

Fenced. Arguably the nicest diamonds in the city. Friend of mine runs it.

Seriously, that sounds great.
Maybe we could have a combined year-end party/banquet after the games? With awards, including the final gifting of the PINK SCARF.

Wanda told me there is one spot left for us. Short notice, I know. I think it could overlap with our regular Sunday game too?

At Jaycee Park, or just in general? I'll rival the moon for both pasty whiteness and pock marks! I also control the tides but that's another story...

hmmmmm
I'd love to do it and it would be good bonding time. Hey coach, wanna send out an email?
For the tournament I mean, not Rube's pock-marked ass-a-lympics.

I think we need to come up with something rewarding to get instead of the pink scarf, something unque still though. Something that the MVP should get maybe that would be motivation, mind you not getting the pink scarf should be motivation enough I guess.
Although the way Rhettzky played with that thing on maybe we should pick someone at the start of the game that has to play the game in it.
