"Kokanee Sunday Night Co-Ed Slo-Pitch League

5. The wind-up tourney is at Okotoks on Deck, for the weekend of August 15th to 17th. All teams will be playing this weekend."

Again, did you tell her you were in the Kokanee league and it is the season ending tourney/playoffs?

Then ask her for Hillchester, it's staggeringly popular round here. She'll probably be out though.

I told her we are in the Kokanee League (Optimist), and I wanted to confirm our participation in the mid-August tournament (I didn't know about it being season ending playoffs, so maybe I confused her).

That IS the weekend of the playoffs. ALL teams are entered automatically. No need to sweat it.
