Now there’s a nitwit whose name I haven’t heard in a long time. What is the latest on Queen Dildo?

I saw someone making fun of her and her minions about something called MedBeds. Some very Star Trek thing she has promised that will cure all ills. Always just a month or so away from being delivered...

They are closing in on Romana Didulo’s compound.
I suspect they will flee if they cannot fight this bylaw, as a Plan & Zoning Bylaw would likely outlaw residential use of the School Building, or even regulate the parking / use of RV’s on properties directly abutting common play areas.
The Richmound chapter of Romana’s saga may come to a close next month.
Bets on which small town they attempt to overthrow next?

Would have been a classy move by Carney to give them official party status, especially considering he already did the "classy" move in calling quick by-election for PP.
I'm fine with it though. It should strongly signal to progressives the direction this government is headed in and force the NDP to go back to their roots and present a more traditional left-wing populist alternative, rather than just being Diet LPC.

Why? Voters had their say and didn’t elect the NDP anywhere near sufficient amounts to get status. If they want official party status, do better.

Indeed, this should signal to the federal NDP they need a reset, starting with a leadership convention after the very ill-advised “save Singh at all costs” move that is very likely the cause of them dipping below the requisite number of seats in the HoC.

Yes, a traditional left wing party like the Greens would never engage in such behaviour, selling out supporters and candidates elsewhere to make sure their leader keeps a seat by bastly disproportionate allocation of resources. Couldn't happen.

EDIT: This is such a bafflingly bad take. Even if it "means nothing," there are hugely negative consequences to the mass distribution of. I don't know you look at the consequences of the last 10+ years of disinformation campaigns by media, politicians and other prominent public figure with large followings, especially the disinformation spread during COVID and think "no big deal" when the second-most prominent politician in the country, who garnered 40% of the popular vote, is actively spreading garbage. It's pretty disappointing that this post gets the hurrah from a ton of posters on this board, but a sitting cabinet minister spreading misinformation is greeted with "what he's in charge of doesn't actually matter, lol you losers get so riled up".
Consistency would be nice, but I've come to realize that's asking for too much from a lot of people on this board.

Are you saying there is no difference between the leader of a party and a cabinet member?
I agree that the cabinet minister in question should not have spoken as he did… but there is a huge difference.

Sitting cabinet minister and leader of a non-governing party? I don't agree that there's a huge difference there.

Misinformation should be called out regardless of who is saying it.

100% agree - that's where my frustration comes from. You get the "wtf, this is unacceptable" reaction in some instances, and "stop getting so riled up, you're overreacting" in others, and they're wholly biased based on the "side" spreading misinformation.

Anyone pay attention to the Throne speech or how people have reacted to it?
EDIT: I just saw an article that was mad at what the former PM wore as a shoe choice, so that means speech was uneventful.

Not all misinformation is created equally, and therefore not all misinformation deserves the same level of reaction, but in both references, the spreader of misinformation was rightly criticized for it (not by you in both cases, mind you, but by many of the people you’re accusing of holding bias).
You’ve also been guilty of spreading misinformation. So while I appreciate your point, there’s probably better spokespeople against misinformation than people that spread it, and better against bias than people that simply hold the opposite one.

Can you link some posts where I "spread misinformation"? Apologies for not consulting CP's resident police on when I'm allowed to call things out or not. The irony in your last post is palpable, didn't think that lack of self-awareness really existed. Pretty funny how you obviously took my post so defensively and felt the need for the drive by when I didn't list any names at all....

Sounds like a major procurement shake up for Canada's military now as well. Carney was saying they want to have deals in place by Canada day. I think we are going to see Canada step away from the f-35 program and get in bed with one of the Euro fighters.
My guess is either getting in first on the new joint EU fighter or the Saab (which creates a ton of new jobs which Carney alluded to in his interview I watched)
