I would imagine he's playing because "that's what tough guys do" or whatever. Of course he should be shut down, their season is over. Doesn't really make sense.

There you go, Steelers can run Harris 4 consecutive plays. Gets a FG out of it.

Las Vegas Raiders rookie cornerback Nate Hobbs was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of DUI early Monday morning, hours after the team returned from a last-second victory at the Indianapolis Colts that kept its playoff hopes alive.
The arrest of Hobbs, 22, comes two months and one day after receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a fiery high-speed car crash that claimed the life of a 23-year-old woman and her dog and has Ruggs facing up to 50 years in prison on felony DUI and reckless driving charges. It also comes one day shy of a year from when running back Josh Jacobs was arrested on a DUI charge after a single-vehicle collision near the airport in Las Vegas.

Maybe its just me, but this stuff seems to happen to Raiders players much more than other franchises. Weird.

I don't get Kevin Stefanski at all. You leave your rookie tackle on an island against T.J. freaking Watt, who took full advantage of that ... and at the same time, you force the pass all the time although a.) your QB absolutely stinks and b.) you have an outstanding RB. This isn't rocket science, especially when you're up against the worst run defense in the league. They make things a lot harder for themselves than they need to be.

He should be fired. Lost so many winnable games because of poor strategy, even shorthanded against Las Vegas, even in Green Bay. Turned a 11-6 team into a 7-10 one.

I have heard that if the Steelers beat the Ravens and the Jags beat the Colts, then the Chargers and Raiders make the playoffs with a tie on Sunday night football. Continuous kneeling by the Chargers and the Raiders would be epic...

Unless the Browns are blowing it up and going full rebuild it seems fairly idiotic (though an incredibly Browns thing to do) to fire Stefanski now. He's had a bad year, but not enough to get fired. Browns are 0-5 this year in game winning drive situations, they could easily be a playoff team right now if Baker hasn't been so awful.

Apparently Commanders is the frontrunner, which is pretty lame.

Why would it have to be a rebuild? It would be like firing Dungy to get Gruden. Not that Dungy was even a bad coach but sometimes you need someone else to put you over. The playcalling was atrocious in those 0-5 drives.

Dungy was in Tampa six years before he got canned, Stefanski is in year two. Situations aren't even close to the same. What top coach is going to come into a situation with a wildly uncertain QB situation, where a coach who is easily the franchise's most successful coach....ever (New Browns only) got canned in a year where his QB, who this time last year was a lock to get a long term extension, went out and delivered well below replacement level performance? It might have been fine to think Baker was maybe overrated this time last year, but no one could have expected him to be one of the worst QBs in the league this year, injured or not.
And if you can't get a clear upgrade at coach, why make the change? Makes way more sense to fire him after next year if they disappoint, because then Baker is done and the new coach can choose his QB going forward. Firing him now is what bad teams do (i.e. the new Browns most of their existence).

I wouldn't fire him either, but I'd have him stop calling the plays. Yesterday wasn't a one-off, his playcalling has been underwhelming all season.

Looks like washingtonadmirals.com redirected to the WFT website earlier. Could be a red herring, who knows.

People here think the Rams will choke up the division and lose to the 49ers?
I make a divisional parlay every season (6 picks) and it's my last one I need to hit.
I just have that gut feeling Arizona beats the Dolphins and 49ers continue to dominate the Rams.
