People really need to go to the last mega draft in 2015 and order their favorite picks in the 11-20 range.

You have to adjust for Boston swinging and missing 3 times from 13-15.

Good on CP fans that see it for what is and just turn it back on them. Some posters seem bent on polarizing certain topics. For example, it wouldn't be out of character for an oiler fan to polarize one of our high draft picks to get people turned on their own team, or players.

That was character win, hard not to be a little excited about that.

Vancouver is a fair weathered market. Seattle is better.
Bit of both IMO. They played way better in the 2nd half. The first they couldn’t make passes. The work ethic was there but not the execution. Then suddenly the passes were on the tape and the pucks went in the net. Plus a good bounce for Huberdeau’s goal, some great defensive play at the end and a decent 3 on 3 for a change. The Canucks only had the one chance which Markstrom saved, but aside from that, were on the perimeter all OT.

Was stressful times but Flames absolutely controlled play for most of the game. As others mentioned the power play and some bad puck management at critical times kept Vancouver in it. Very happy for the win and just continue to play the same way (minus the errors). Seems like the effort is there so now let’s hope the execution follows.

Well it took almost the entire season, but the Flames finally got their comeback win and in overtime to boot. Kudos to the team for showing a lot of resolve coming back from 3 separate deficits to tie things up.

Fitting that the game ended with a Backlund to Toffoli conversion, they’ve been the 2 best Flames forwards all season long. Mangiapane moving up to Lindholm’s line has been huge, they’ve looked great together lately. Thought Huberdeau had himself a pretty good game too.

For a while there, it seemed like the game would end up in a loss and all the talk would be about Markstrom’s terrible save% and Huberdeau’s failed penalty shot attempt, but a tip of the hat to both for the big clutch saves and the game tying goal.

Have to give the team credit, they clearly haven’t given up on the season yet despite the odds. If you think about it, the team really should be playing well right now. Darryl’s playoff style may be a grind for an 82 game regular season, but when the playoffs are around the corner, this is when the team should be hitting their stride.

They’ve basically been preparing for this stretch run for the entire season. It might be hard to get up for those crap teams in the dog days of the season, but not in game 75. As long as the goaltending holds up, this team has more than a puncher’s chance to get that last spot.

I have noticed that too at canucks games. They are the biggest asshats.

Was good to see the drive in Zadorov last night. You could tell he was doing what was required to make sure we didn’t lose. I think he’s probably a quiet leader in the dressing room.

Absolutely LOVE this photo. (Almost) every Flames fan standing, they’re just as pumped as Huby and Kadri to get that game tying goal:

Oh man…if the Flames end up making it there will be some wonderful fodder for a wall of shame. Myself included. Nobody should feel bad about it either, this was one of the most frustrating seasons I can remember.

When you look at the goaltending all season until Markstrom’s baby, it’s pretty clear to me that this is otherwise a playoff team, despite Huberdeau and Mangiapane having off years. And with all that still good enough to hang around all year.

If you look behind the main three people in the photo, there are just as many Flame fans as Canuck fans in there, if not more. Although, the final score is on the board and the losing fans tend to scurry out faster.

Nice for a change. I was at the Bruins Calgary game here and the fan percentage was depressing. I imagine Leafs are even worse.

Just popping back in to point out how hilariously bad Tyler Myers continues to be:

Completely lost and useless on all 4 Flames regulation goals.

Looking at those replays I'm convinced the Huberdeau goal was a set play, intended to bank off the lively boards right to him. He was skating right to where the puck was about to bounce as soon as the puck was shot, and that's why the shot was taken from the faceoff circle instead of the slot. It all happened way too fast to be a reaction to an unexpected rebound.

You know, I was thinking about that. I'm pretty sure Lewis did that intentionally to set up Duehr in the Los Angeles game and then it happened again to set up Huberdeau in the Vancouver game last night.
