I agree on pretty much all points. Saw the Smith goal as over the arm / glove, not over the shoulder
I’ve seen Johnny and Kane score those where it whizzes by the goalie’s ear, and that wasn’t one.
I didn’t think Bobrovsky was that bad on the whole either. Flames offense was vicious.

Looks like he got a tiny piece of it and deflected it over his shoulder. You can see how big that hole is though. So much room to shoot at for Atkinson. That seemed to handcuff Smith too. Just right spot. Smith needs to challenge, he’s far too deep in his net.

If Smith has been in net for that goal there would have been two pages of posts blasting him in this thread.
It's funny, I agree, but now it's going the other way where there's a segment that defends Smith at all costs and brings up Rittich's mistakes at every opportunity as a way to repeated endlessly the same things over and over again in why Rittich shouldn't be given a longer leash. They're all Flames! Wish people would just support them and be honest about both players

As for Rittich, is it me or he's slowly channeling his inner Chad Johnson when he started being bad during the 2nd half of the 16-17 season? Seems like the BSD hype has gotten to him. Hope he doesn't become Red Light Rittich (major props to this Oiler fan for the monicker) for the rest of the season. I'm just scared, given how the Flames have had awful goaltending for the longest time.

Thanks for this. Sucks living in BC and having Canucks hockey on 82 games a season. Thank goodness they miss the playoffs almost annually. I hate regional restrictions.

Really sad you give "major props" to an Oiler fan because he created a negative nickname for our goalie.
