Not all on Smith. more like 40% on Smith. A lot of these goals are caused by brutal turn overs made by the team in the offensive zone. Smith bailed them out so many times this year and now that he's leveled off we're now being exposed to how truly bad this system is.

Other than the first month or so Smith has been average to below average. He’s just not a great goalie and prepare for more of the same next year. Better hang on to the 2019 1st Brad... if you still have a job by then

I'm trying to remember... was the lockout season this bad after the Iginla trade?
I don't think it was this bad.

We have a ####ing jackass behind the bench, no other explanation.

Not that I was expecting a win, but a few saves and some intensity would have been nice. Let's see what the third brings. Ha. Ha. Who am I kidding?

They have allowed 10 shots FFS, what are you even talking about
Calgary has allowed almost no scoring chances, the last turnover went off the linesman

It was. Kipper went on to retire based on the poo that season was.

I think this is the most depressed Ive ever been as a flames fan. mostly because we dont have a pick in the first three rounds. Wouldn't be surprised if the oilers finish above us at this point. It will be close enough that the bragging rights will be minimal.

This team is laughable. There are people in that building who paid $275 a seat tonight. Wonder what the pitch will be this offseason to get them to re-up? They can’t force a deposit this year through playoff sales either. I think this team has ticket issues next year. No draft to get excited about. This team is in a marketing pickle heading into the offseason.

As if destroying dreams of playoffs wasn't enough, Gulutzan needs to destroy Smith's excellent season numbers on top of it. Let's just leave him out there.
The organization should be embarrassed for continuing to allow these performances to go unaddressed. Forget the players, it feels like this management has no pride whatsoever.

Amazingly predictable outcome with Smith. "Don't overplay him or he'll get injured." And then he gets overplayed, gets injured, the backup isn't seasoned enough because he didn't get starts, and then they lose and so when Smith gets back you lean even harder on him and he loses because he doesn't have time to get his rhythm going and heal fully.
Smith could have been the perfect goalie for us this year. Instead he'll end this season like so many before him.

Smith has been poor at home most of the season

Gulutzan is now destroying his numbers? Listen I want the guy fired too, but Smith is responsible for letting in that 2nd and 3rd goal. Those were brutal

Why in the ever living #### is Gully still employed? Get him out of there put a broom stick behind the bench it won't make any difference at the worst.

Calgary has allowed plenty of scoring chances tonight. They don't close the gap soon enough and they allow the play to develop with speed against them, it's not efficient. Hence the scoreboard.
