So the team is broken and now the one good thing we had in Smith is also broken? This season is a real stinker all around. I'm just hoping Smith is not permanently broken, but it does not feel great when a goalie in his mid-30s is having a run like this.

When he’s only faced 7 shots and has been terrible in every game he’s played except one since he’s returned, yes.
Yup.
Continuing to force the square peg, even if it's your starter is the kind of thinking this team needs less of. That's Gulutzan thinking.
The lack of adjustment has been a huge deterrent to sustaining any kind of success and alternately turning around slumps.
It's like he's waiting for this formula that he conjured up 2 years ago to suddenly and magically pan out and for everything to start working like he knows better than what's actually happening in front of his eyes.
I think I can confidently say I’ve seen Smith allow 6 soft goals the last 4 game tail spin. We shouldn’t of been in the position we were in regardless but I can confidently say we haven’t had a chance since Smiths been back and that’s all on him. Soft goals deflate teams, when your letting in multiples a game your not going to win period.
Well, I'm done for tonight, and probably the season. I was hoping the team would at least put up a fight tonight, but unfortunately that's not the case. Pretty sad effort from these guys tonight.
They shouldn't have rushed Smith back from injury. Dude has not been good lately. Rittich deserves to get at least the next couple of starts.
Fair enough, but both times there the ice was heavily tilted in Calgarys favour, then they come down the ice and score a soft one. Repeat. Hard to keep intensity up when you keep getting deflated by crap goaltending.
