At some point you need to waive a guy that may cost you some value, but if they can't keep a job in the NHL, that's on them. Jankowski needs to stay up. Lazar will likely have to be waived at some point, he needs to go the AHL, and even if another team picks him up, he will likely not stay in the NHL very long. He's not NHL calibre at this point yet needs time to work on things.

Scratching Lazar half the games does no one any good.

Thats what I'm saying. They will waive one of those 3 tomorrow (unless Jagr isn't ready). I think the multiple looks at Bennett-Jankowski-Jagr is pretty telling.

Lazar has much more upside than Freddie Hamilton and a good chance he would be picked up if waived maybe even from Edmonton who has no depth. Neither Hamilton or Glass will be picked up on waivers so if you need them due to injuries later in the season you just bring them up. IMO we should send them both down to the farm and bring up Hathaway to play on the 4th line. Stajan is a good guy and will not mind being sat out for half the games.

I would much rather have Glass or Hamilton waived before Lazar... Maybe even Stajan.. I can't tell who's better, Stajan or Lazar.. They're both pretty bad so far, but Lazar is faster.
