You took heat because your negative posts were getting annoying. Now, you want to post a "I told you so" gif to continue to show that.

If the flames win all three remaining games, with no shootouts, the Flames finish second in the division if Vancouver loses two out of 6 remaining points.

If Winnipeg and LA go undefeated there's nothing that Calgary can do
Calgary right now holds the ROW on both teams, so if Calgary ends up tied with either of the teams they are in.
LA doesn't play Winnipeg again. The only head to head is Calgary Winnipeg and Calgary LA
If Calgary steals a point from either of those teams then things are a lot more interesting.
But if Calgary beats Arizona and gets a point against LA and Winnipeg they finish at 97 points
If LA loses one game in their next four against Oilers, Flames, Canucks and Sharks they finish at 98.
If Winnipeg loses one game in their next 4 games against the Wild, Blues, Avs and Flames they finish with 98 points but their schedule is a bit of a night mare.
If LA loses against the Canucks and the Flames win tomorrow against Yotes, the Flames will be up by three points going into the Flames game and a Flames win pretty much puts the Kings away.
We don't have control, a 2-0-1 record putting the Flames at 98 points pretty much puts the Flames in the playoffs.
Even a 2-1 record for the Flames puts the Flames in the playoffs due to them having beaten one of LA or Winnipeg.
It does look like 97 points is going to be a playoff barrier.

Calgary can stop both/either of those teams from going undefeated by beating those teams. That's something Calgary can do.

Is it true that if Vancouver loses to LA tonight (in regulation) and If Calgary beats Arizona tomorrow night, the Flames would pass them in the standings due to having the same ROW but Calgary owning the head to head series???

Yep. We would have 5 points vs the nucks vs 4.
Sucks so much that Canucks finish the season against the Oilers and Coyotes.

Yes.
Though keep in mind that Vancouver plays the Oilers and Coyotes in their final two games, so really we want them to beat LA.

Head to head is owned now, however still one more game against LA so that is less relevant until we find out if LA wins the flames game in regulation (which if we finished tied in points and ROW, a regulation win would give LA the tiebreaker).
Edit: misunderstood, sorry!

Oh I agree completely.
I'd like to see us beat Arizona and LA plain and simple. I don't like the idea of having to go into Winnipeg in a must win situation the game they get Byfuglien back...

I still think 96 gets you in, but only from the Flames perspective because of the tie-breakers.
Winnipeg or LA might get 96 and not make it this year due to ROW. I don't see Calgary getting 96 and missing based on the head-to-head match ups in the final few games here.

Only on here is saying "I don't think 96 points will be enough" some sort of super negative comment.

There could be a guy hanging off a ledge, while a rescue worker reaches down to try and grab his hand and save him. The worker could have a hold of the guys hand and 99 people around you would say, "Oh good, he's safe." and you would say, "Nah...he's gonna' fall."

Doesn't matter what the other 2 teams do in their other games, really comes down to the head to heads. Its all on us, lose both these big 4 point games and we're out, and deservingly so.

Just beat Arizona. Permutations and combinations are pointless if we can't do that.
