Not directed at you, but what do posters, who seem to not like rumours from twitter, expect is going to happen in a trade thread? If they don't like the discussion on said fantasy trade then, don't join in.

Or as Friedman so eloquently put it at the end of his last article:
" Lots more to come on Sunday, no doubt. Enjoy the Rumour Orgasmatron"

At this point you've got to think if one of Lindholm or Monahan are going to turn out to be a better player than Seguin down the road.
Personally, I don't think that'd be the case. Seguin has played Boston's style since the beginning of his career. Already has a cup, and came close to a 2nd. A former 2nd Overall pick, and still in the early stages of his career with lots of room to grow.
If we trade for Seguin, then hope we can sign Horton once FA opens, we've come a long way from the team we iced last season size-wise and toughness-wise.
I think Feaster knows what he's doing... I think.

Yes, actually.
With Horton leaving and the chance Jagr retires, he'd fit in fine

Boston fans are NOT keen on any Seguin trade. Following "Tyler Seguin trade" feed and Boston fans mostly are not happy with this idea.
Like this one: I'd trade Tyler Seguin for: A top 3 pick OR a deal with PHI for Schenn, Courtier and the 11th overall pick. That's it. If not, keep him.

Or this one: Excuse me, @NHLBruins If you trade Tyler Seguin, I promise you I will riot #ImaStartARiot #ImaStartARiot”

But my favorite one: @tylerseguin92 If you make a trade with the Calgary Flames, did it really happen? #Iginla

Had an idea!

I wouldn't trade him either. Not sure why Boston favors Krejci over him.

26 points in 22 playoff games is all they really need to know (also led them in scoring the year they won the Cup).

It is amazing that they are considering trading him. I guess if they feel they can get into the top 3 picks this year it maybe worth it but he is a proven centre with amazing speed and the talent to be the 1C in Boston for many years.
I think any time who can make the trade to get him will be selling their future to get him. I hope we don't do it.

who'd you rather have, Gaudreau and Monahan, or Seguin?

I'd rather trade Jankowski than Gaudreau, nevertheless, the rumoured trade proposal would be great for the Flames

Krejci's a beast, especially in the playoffs.

This article references the flames and lightning having some interest in Seguin. Also states that the Bruins are not happy with his progression this year and mention he needs to mature
I think a trade to a rebuilding team could wake him up a bit and still have no problems with the flames making that deal as rumored

Seguin easy. I can't believe Boston is considering trading him
If he ends up a Flame tomorrow I'm gonna lose my mind, I am excited about the 6th pick and Johnny Hockey, but Seguin would be the greatest return we could imagine for that deal
Still having 2 (late) 1st round picks makes it even easier to accept. He is instantly our best player, and one of our youngest

It's tough to answer. Gaudreau and Monahan could be St. Louis and Stall. They also could be Ennis and Stajan. They both have a long way to prove themselves.
The safest pick out of the 3 is Seguin. I think its a fair deal for both teams. Boston takes the chance on those 2 panning out and Calgary gets the next face of the franchise.

As much as i'd hate to lose Johnny (i think he's going to be a good player) it would likely be worth it to get Seguin. Whoever we take at 6 will likely not develop into what Seguin could become.

Seguin, but I don't know if that is enough for Boston for him. I wouldn't do more though to get him, that would the most I would send over for him.

Agreed. I'd toss the 6th at them and pretty much whatever else they wanted. I'd also ask about Khocklachev to see if he could be tossed in too since they already planned on moving him once.
