My fiancée and her friends finally give Destiny Crota's End raid a try after 3 months of practice. Some of them had never played on a console, let alone a FPS, so it would be the first time. This is basically a video about their journey to where they are now and to prove that having no background in FPS or console gaming, with enough practice, anyone can get to their end goal.

Have been enjoying some Iron Banner action after a couple months off from Destiny. I've had a warlock helmet and the rocket launcher drop for me thus far (which came with some solid perks including grenades and horseshoes, which is a favourite of mine).
I'd love to have a decent sniper of any type drop for me with the hidden hand perk. Seems everyone's running that in PvP these days.
Actually just picked up a 1000 yard stare with hidden hand, tough to notice much difference to be honest. Unfortunately it has a longview scope as the low zoom option, so not quite what I was after but it isn't terrible.

I watched a video once on the hidden hand perk and it basically concluded that it is virtually useless on snipers. The hit box stays virtually the same, and when you are scoped, its hard for the perk to "glue" you to the target. The perk is much more useful on primary weapons as you are not fully scoped in on people and the magnet like effect of the perk is actually quite useful (think about not missing every shot on the entire first burst on a pulse rifle - difference between winning and losing a 1v1 gunfight).
Also, no idea where I saw that, but it was months ago. I think just having hidden hand on snipers increased people's confidence, which made it seem like a great perk, when it was just a placebo effect.

From my use of the new sniper over the last week or so, I have to say I actually prefer the stock 1KYS to it, even though on paper the perks should be better.

I believe it was Planet Destiny and their video does support the idea that Hidden Hand is much more useful on primaries because you do get more bullet magnetism. Because it's only adding incrementally to the aim assist stat on snipers, it's not a noticeable to most until you start comparing huge differences in aim assist (Eirene vs 1KYS).
Snipers definitely have that 'feel' to them more than any other weapon being such precision tools.
Yeah - this is so much "feel" to using a sniper, I totally agree. I remember getting the raid sniper early on after TTK dropped, and using it was like using a fork to eat soup - just never felt right.

Random youtube dump.
Bunch of clips with my titan over the past couple weeks.
This is more of a generic Rumble gameplay if anybody cared. Nothing unique about it other than just getting more and more used to playing at a faster pace after being involved in sweats/scrims and using The Last Word hipfire/Aggressive Ballistics.
I love the wave when the guy falls off, followed by you falling off. That's some tasty irony.

I'm pretty sure this is the last time my GF will ever play Destiny. She actually enjoys gaming, but does not like Destiny. Broforce/Gauntlet/Spelunky are more her jam lol.

Hey Anduril - my buddy was checking out Nghtly's stream today and found your Rumble match vs 13 Devils. Starting at the 2:08 mark. Nice job on the win!

Hah thanks. Is it somebody I know? I got a few messages from friends who were watching who were watching too. Classic Free-For-All is as tough as it gets.
