Any tips on playing inferno? I've been messing around with it lately and I seem to be terrible at it. Didn't realize how much I leaned on the radar. I always seems to be getting hit first, and my K/D is brutal in that mode.

Any tips on playing inferno? I've been messing around with it lately and I seem to be terrible at it. Didn't realize how much I leaned on the radar. I always seems to be getting hit first, and my K/D is brutal in that mode.
It takes some adjusting for sure.
Here's my advice:
1. Run Shotgun with a good short/mid range primary (TLW/Doctrine/Hawksaw).
2. Always be moving. Being stationary means you are an easy target.
3. Take unique angles to high traffic areas and choke points. I.E. change your elevation, jump up from a different angle, etc.
4. Prime high traffic areas preemptively with grenades that do area damage (firebolt/arcbolt/lightning etc.). Why do this? If you get the drop on someone, you get a locator as to where they are with the damage, and that will likely win you the fight outright. If you miss, its no big deal. By the time you are in an actual fight, throwing a grenade after being shot a few times likely means you are dead anyways. Pre-throwing gives you the one up on the opponent.
5. Always be moving.

Sure did! I got the pink one, which I'm happy with. The chocolate one seemed kinda meh to me.
I got the less than stellar chocolate one. I wound up infusing it into my raid ghost.
On a total side note I am one stupid calcified fragment away from the touch of malice. So excited to hopefully finish up that long quest tonight. I hope its worth all the effort.

Finishing that raid with randoms is a pain, as a lot of the time they seem to jump out at Oryx to get the checkpoint so they can run it with thier crew at a later date. Would be awesome to put a CP raid crew together on XB1.

Have been enjoying some Iron Banner action after a couple months off from Destiny. I've had a warlock helmet and the rocket launcher drop for me thus far (which came with some solid perks including grenades and horseshoes, which is a favourite of mine).
I'd love to have a decent sniper of any type drop for me with the hidden hand perk. Seems everyone's running that in PvP these days.
