Would be a red card for most teams there?

Woke up this morning with a gut feeling that this game was not gonna go well and my feelings were confirmed.
Italy did just not show up. No heart, did not try at all, and looked like they wanted to get the hell out of South Africa.
After their determination and hard work in 2006, this 2010 tournament is just pathetic. No heart, no will to win, terrible diving and play acting, just ashamed to be cheering for these guys after this game.

This really reminds me of the 02/06 Olympics for Canada. A win in 02 and then we sent the same old squad to Turin thinking of past glory and lost.

Or at the very least pre-Cup world rankings.
Anything but a coin flip really.

I've always feared Italy. I've never ever seen them play like this, especially in defense. In the past, even if their were crap, the defense would keep them alive in the worst of situations.
For an Italian to give up 4 goals in a group as easy as that is just mindboggling.

Excellent result - now if only New Zealand could score and move on.

Goal for Di Natale. Again, Italy only need a draw if the other game stays 0-0.

I'm loving a World Cup where anything can and does happen.
In the end, one of the favourites will probably win the thing but still . . . . . it's been interesting.
Look at that Italian guy rolling around like a pansy in the net!!!

What are these Italian idiots doing? You just got one back and now you're fighting in the net?
