Which city is closer to the new areana? Seattle or Quebec city?

The answer would likely depend on the likelihood of legal action impacting Quebec's development.

In either case, I think you're looking at 2+ years in a temporary facility.

The greater ability to extract expansion fees from Quebec than Seattle makes Seattle the logical relocation choice.

(or KC, or Houston, or anywhere else mentioned over the years)

Plus, Seattle is a western US city with a population base similar in size to Phoenix, so it's easier to appease any US sponsors who might be getting antsy about paying the same price to reach a smaller potential audience.

It's a good day for the citizens of Glendale at least. What that voted out council did should be illegal imo, a 300 million dollar parting shot.

It needs to be sooner than that. Late May or early June at the latest. See the Winnipeg timeline.

If it's Seattle, I would argue that it needs to be even earlier as you probably would need more time to sell tickets and sponsorship.

I just don't get it. The NHL could be just saying the right things while the season is in progress but history says they are serious. Does Glendale have dirty pictures of Bettman or what?
