On first reading I interpreted “swank” as a woman who was walking with your grandma and got confused by the finger thing - not your grandma!

Ultimately I don't trust the current GoA to do anything with the honesty, integrity, and nuance a subject like this requires. Yeah. I went with a similar , “I don’t trust a government that is concerned about re-election or pandering to funders to make these decisions, and this seems like a very low priority over a case or 4 books that elementary school kids are unlikely to come across”

Courts overruled that after last time so a strike will be legal... nothing Smith will be able to do about that.

I'm 95% sure there will be a strike... I don't think work to rule is effective enough. And it will not be on the first day of school. It will be on some random day in mid September/early October.
