The defence really carried the day for us this time out. We turned a double play up the middle (our second of the season?) and Cowboy's ability to chase down fly balls in left field would make any collie with a frisbee jealous. And did I mention we played with only 9 fielders until our ringer showed up late in the game? Congrats team.

By the way, I think a lot of us should take a look at the first pic of Aeneas. That big stride into the ball helps to bring more power. I kinda do this but not nearly as exagerated as the big guy. We should try using it at the cages when we go.

I certainly need to work on my swing. As big as I am, I should be hitting the ball farther. I changed my stance the other night, and was able to hit to RF.

No big deal. Given how long it takes to get to Optimist from Cranston (c'mon ring road!) it wouldnt take any longer to get to the NE. I just need to know where to meet ya.
