That might actually help. Especially if you request to be handed the food in person.

Go into Your Orders. Select order. Go to bottom where it says Get Help. Select, order was cancelled. Go from there.

Needed to get out $2900 (Australian dollars) but my card limit was $2000. Couldn't increase in the bank's app. Call them, have to wait on hold for 20 minutes, only to be told (at least politely) that the guy on the phone couldn't do anything, and I'd need to visit a branch.
Turned out I had nothing to do today, so I headed in and the process was mostly painless but the fact you can't withdraw a pretty reasonable amount of your own money, at your own convenience and not within banking hours, is pretty dumb.

I get more than that from the bank quickly all the time. You just have to wear a mask and carry a gun.

Speaking of ATMs, what's up with the trend of installing outdoors ATMs these days? I see multiples of them downtown and also in other parts of the city. Is it for the convenience for some hobo to mug you as soon as you take the cash out?

Due to issues of unhoused camping out in vestibules for ATMs most banks have started locking them after business hours, defeating the purpose of remote access to your cash. So by having the ATMs out in the open they can continue to give you access 24/7.

Well, until they start making the touch-screens out of stronger sh-t, it's likely just going to get buggered up by some arsehole tweaked out of his mind. Or maybe just stick to physical buttons entirely for these outdoor ones.
Better yet, some clever institution should just figure out how to allow integration of the bank's mobile app with the ATM.
You go into your mobile banking app, choose the 'Use an ATM' feature, then choose what you want to do:
- Deposit 1x cheque - $551.27
- Withdraw $200 cash; 1 $50, 6 $20s, 2 $10 2 $5s.
Once you decide what you want to do, the app prompts you to scan a QR code on the ATM's (very well-protected) screen. The app and the ATM exchange the instructions you provided, the app asks if you're ready to deposit the cheque. You tap OK. The ATM opens the deposit drawer and you insert your cheque, cheque is accepted. App asks if you're ready for your withdrawal, you tap OK, and the ATM spits out the $200 in the denominations you requested, just like you can using the normal ATM screen, except you don't need to worry about if some jerkwad has beat the hell out of it to the point that it doesn't work.

Banks are the worst; but I guess that's why they are so successfuil in this country.
Couple years ago I was buying a new home and needed to move some money around and then get the draft for the down payment. She's like that'll be $8 please. And I'm like are you serious, I need to spend money to take out my own money? She's like what's the money for, and I say for a house. She's like please talk to our inhouse mortgage person and I'm like bro I have a mortgage I'm closing in like 12 hours. Then I ask can you remove the fee because I've been a loyal client for 25 years and RBC cleared 5 billion last quarter. Sorry sir, absolutely nothing we can do about the fee. Then proceeds to say she could remove the fee if I agree to make an appointment with their mortgage specialist. lol.

You guys don't have that? https://www.commbank.com.au/digital-...-cardless.html
I should add that meth/crackheads aren't really a thing here. Not common to find an ATM in unusable condition, but the banks themselves are still running a backwards operation.

CIBC Visa annual fee is the only bank fee I pay.
Simplii for day-to-day chequing.
Investments at QT, WS or CIBC IE.
LOC at CIBC (no-fee)
I'll bite the bullet and pay for a bank draft, which happens maybe every 10 years or so.

I paid for a bank draft from one bank when moving money around to pay contractors for some work...
Get to Royal Bank... Need to hold it for 2 weeks...
WTF !! I paid for a draft to avoid this. Teller wouldn't budge until I got a manager involved.
20 Years of Banking History and they still suspect me of fraud...FFS !!!

Bank tellers are useless here. When I run up to the teller and ask a credit card question - hold up! You need to book an appointment with a credit card specialist! How about the GIC rates? No, you need to book with an investment specialist!
Why do they have so many different job functions like a credit card specialist, loan specialist, mortgage specialist, investments specialist, whatever specialist? Why can't the banks train their staff to do most if not all of these? Isn't that all the information is readily available in the same system?

Ohhh....I'd have been fataing LIVID!
The point of the Bank Draft is that the Bank guarantees that the funds are there. Thats why you pay for them. Otherwise its just a f'ing cheque that any old idiot can write at any time.
No sir. I'd not stand for that BS.
The whole point is the Bank guarantees the money, they hold the money in the account essentially on behalf of the recipient of the Draft so the issuer can't write the Draft (or cheque) drain the account and let it bounce.
Thats why you pay the money.
