I don't understand why companies can't put out new commercials more frequently instead of recycling old ones. McCain brought back that potato wedge commercial where the 5 or 6 friends are doing weird things with their food. I think that ad went off the air for at least 6 months (or at least I hadn't seen it in a long time) but TSN brought it back for the World Juniors Tournament. Same goes for the Nissan evil snowman one.
Is it that difficult or expensive to come up with a new commercials ever few months?
That Scotiabank commercial where the kid takes his father on a road trip.
I'll just move some things around and save you an additional 1500 dollars.
It's like poof! She doesn't ask him any questions, or determine his needs. WTF? If it was that easy why didn't you do that before? Were you actually robbing him?
I'll just do some computer bank magic and save you 1500 dollars. Cause you asked.
So stupid.
The part about this is that it is 1500 a year, that is 125 a month. Either he saved up for a while or it was a lame road trip. What was he doing, driving to Red Deer? How can anyone have a lifetime dream roadtrip that costs a few hundred bucks?

Hah! Not just that. They did bring it back, but they have two versions of it now. One with a really bad song behind it. Like terrible.
They musts had good results at the focus group... Or, had to pull the new commercial for whatever reason and had to fill the air time or ad budget somehow.
The Panago pizza one with the girl slowly chewing her pizza and the guy laughing. Brutal commercial, can't wait for it to stop being aired during Flames games

Huh! Well, that explains things. What a terrible voice-over job on the North American version though.
Jesus Carl, it STINKS in here! I thought you father told you to do that in the shower!
LOL I can't believe that so many of us enjoy mocking this commercial in the wrong way... Count Anna and I in as well!

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
Most recently, I have been wanting to gouge my eyes out every time the Molson ad comes on with people from South Africa, Japan, and Australia having separate conversations about something crazy they saw on social media:
"And the best part? HE'S CANADIAN!"
"CANADIAN??!!"
"Yeah! CANADIAN!!"
Really?? That's the best part?
In general, I hate all commercials that attempt to capitalise on some misplaced sense of Canadian patriotism (I'm looking at you, Tim Horton's), but this one is perhaps even worse, because it is just stupid.

That one is the worst of those make, for sure. I don't get as upset about these types of commercials as you seem to, but this ones angers me for all the oter citizens of the world.
Like Canadian's are the funniest, craziest, people on the planet... no one from elsewhere is as fun to have at a party...

Although I agree. Those are horrible and I hate any ads for apps period.
I can't and refuse to find a youtube link for this, but the Twinrix "You are a traveller" ads pop blood vessels in by brain.
Not only is it a horrible commercial, it sums up everything I hate about all-inclusives, Summer's Eve bags that consider being able to say "cerveza" akin to speaking Spanish, and the recent trending d-baggery of Canadian's abroad.

And why wouldn't it be started? The only one that makes sense is where the pipe burst and the agent has arranged for an emergency plumber and cleanup crew. But when my car was stolen a few years ago I also had a claim number right away when I called my insurance company.
The CIBC Adventura Visa commercial with the penguins getting pissed off about fees & taxes grinds my gears, as I have on of those Visa's and went to book a flight to Amsterdam and it was almost $600 in fees & taxes.
