So it’s just business for the player, but not for the team?
Flames should do whatever is best for the team. Doing so won’t come back to bite them. It’s business. Vegas is very cutthroat when it comes to their players. It doesn’t seem to prevent players from wanting to sign there.

Agree. Why do we pretend these are human beings?!

I'm really not feeling any excitement about Lohrei. I think we selected the better player with Kuznetsov.
Kunznetsov = 2020 50OA
Lohrei = 2020 58OA
Lohrei may be putting up more points (along with his massive -43 last season) but Kuznetsov seems way more defensively capable and is already playing bigger minutes.
I guess the plus side is that Lohrei is really replacing Hanley / Bean on the third pair and not Kuznetsov on the second pair...

If Lohrei is coming back for cap reasons and there’s also a first and a good prospect, I don’t need to be excited about Lohrei.

Flames have an off day tomorrow and sounds like the team is going out tonight. Gotta think tomorrow is the trade call at this point

Who happen to be extremely well paid employees who are compensated for having to deal with things like trades. Glad we agree.

The Boston game doesn’t start for another hour. Assuming Lohrei is playing, I doubt the trade call happens until after that game or tomorrow. I’m chosing to be optimistic.

Flames have to work harder on their relationships and culture than Vegas. Where would millionaire athletes rather live, Calgary or Vegas?

I didn’t think the trade would go down this weekend since he played today but now I’m back to it’s happening after his long goodbye at the end of the day

The new arena should have came with some strip clubs and a casino. Huge missed opportunity.

It was mentioned earlier that the Bruins are doing a siblings trip starting tonight, so they may have wanted to let him play in front of his sister.
Plus, it's his birthday.

I don’t disagree, but if the Flames had a better on ice product it wouldn’t be an issue. Perhaps we need to be a little more cutthroat so we can get there.
