I have never met Jiri, while I have met Bingo and KG.

True story, tell your friends.

I was stuck on D last year. And I was epically out of shape so rushing the puck up the ice was out of the question.

Uhhh. Zero. Yeah my bad. To be fair the guy out front wasn't my responsibility but I may or may not have allowed the guy in the corner WAY too much time to pass it out there to him...with 7.6 seconds left.

That and it was one of only two, I think, goals against for me and Kryszky (sp?). We were up 6-4 with like 2 minutes left and by the time I got my last shift it was 6-6 and we lost 7-6.

All in all it was a fun game though. Except Prototype should have fought that guy who thought he high sticked him. I think that was Prototype.

If I'm invited back this year I'd love to play forward and pull off the move.

Even when it was 6-4 I had no doubt we'd win. None.

That was me... and if I proved anything last year, it's that if I don't have my looks... I got nothing. I think the other guy posts on CP, but is an Oilers fan...

I just hope Locke doesn't bury me on the 4th line.

Speaking of CP hockey... I think another FTC is in order.

Actually I don't think the game was ever in doubt from puck drop. Puckers were ahead by at least 2 goals from early on and we only let them back in it with a few minutes left.

I don't think the Greasers led for more than the 7.6 seconds when they were ahead 7-6 in the third.

I was thinking of a shakeup! Say, anyone know what Bouwmeester is up to that weekend?

Someone should ask Theo to make the trip with us if they see him at the book signing.

I'm deadly serious too.

I'm not saying I'd go over the line heckling him during the game, but I'd go over the line heckling him during the game.

Since when have you been an Oilers fan, and if you always have been why am I nice to you?

Oh, and I'd probably save my abuse for post-game, you know when we're showering...

Please don't anyone get mad, I know that was in poor taste and not funny.

I'd actually like to make it an in post sig. Sort of like a disclaimer at the end of every post.

If I make it my sig then it'll take attn away from my amazing photo.

Aww crap. And I just got a notification for a PM. I hope it isn't an infraction for the Theo comment. If I never read it does it still count? Really, I respect what he did. He can help a lot of people by coming forward.

On second thought maybe Worth really does want to take me to the game tonight!!

EDIT: phew, it was just Gozer leaving me a visitor message.

I've always been an Oilers fan and you're nice to me because I'm awesome. Further to the point, when I said "we never doubted winning" I meant team Oilfans, as I am a four year vet. Three game win streak by the way.

See you at the toad and turtle.

Three game win streak for you guys?

I'm going to have to figure out which guy you are in the Heckle photo from last year and spear you or something this year. Unless you are really big, then I'll just shout from far away.

I'm right behind the goalie in the white jersey in team photos.

With the Reebok helmet with the strap done up?

Well at least you know your limits as an Oiler fan. Bet you wear that thing even when you're not playing, right? Safety first. Good call.

Huge photo:

(I'm next to the goalie in white, with the Hespeler gloves, watch your back this year)

Claimed or actual?

Remember on the Internet the women are men, the men are boys and the boys are Chris Hansen.

Well, who are our female members? (that we know of, and that I can think of, assuming of course none of them are faking)

Jerzeegirl
Girlysports
EG
Machiavelli
Misskat
Enthused
Witty
Bigtmac19
Puxlut
MissTeeks
starseed
tete
Peanut
Gozer
First Lady
feartheflames
FFR
Ignited Soul
kipperiggy
Shakira
Firefly

at least those who have admitted to being female (or are in the Male Hottie Draft, I guess it could just be dudes who are gay or are comfortable enough in their sexuality to join a male hottie draft, but I'm going to go with all women)

That is about 20.

So if there are about 2000 or so regular members (I might be out to lunch, maybe it is more like 1000) then that is about 100:1 male to female.

Actually somewhere in the 50:1 or 100:1 ratio isn't that bad.
