just found a con of the game that they need to fix.... I got in a fight in Be a pro 1:30 sec into the 2nd period... the period ended without a stoppage in play ... I spent 18:30 sec in the box for fighting

Yeah, but that is what would happen in a real game. You know...the one in a hundred million games that goes 18:30 without a stoppage.

Team Play online sucks. If you want to get your cards to upgrade your Pro you have to play ranked games rather than unranked, fair enough. But you can't play with friends, you just get paid with random n00bs (yes, they all sucked who I played with).

Why couldn't they make it like the last game? I hate playing ranked games with people with no mics, puck hogs (who don't score), people who won't pass to me because I am Defense even when I am clearly open, people who always follow the puck and don't play there position, people who don't know the rules of hockey, etc, etc.

I want my legendary card, but forget ranked games, bogus.

Mission failed jobo! Marvel has presence data but NHL10 still doesn't show the score or period of a player in game.

For some reason my ps3 cant connect to my internet or something...ill have to wait until my brother figures it out. I really want to download the rosters so I cant start my dynasty and play some online.

Edit: Yay he figured it out haha. So excited to play.

Alright so got my friend to host it, he said since its on filefront to do a virus scan once you download it.

SPEEDING UP INSTALLATION
------------------------
EA poorly programmed the Media Hub. It is so slow that it will take literally HOURS to set up all the playlists since NHL 09 re-reads the list of playlists off the network multiple times when you are browsing through it. To avoid this problem I'd recommend advanced users to do the following:

1. Make sure you have all files in a watched folder and WMP/your xbox can recognize the playlists/mp3s.
2. Remove any non-NHL 09 playlists temporarily from your WMP library.
3. Start NHL 09 (it is important to do this after Step 2 and before Step 4 or else it might not show the playlists at all).
4. Make a temporary folder (in a place where WMP doesn't watch, such as on your desktop) and cut the playlists from the watched folder and paste them into the temporary folder.
5. Cut and Paste the Playlists for every playlist installation step (I'll list the steps to install the playlists below, so don't worry about that yet) from the Temporary Folder into the Watched Folder where the playlists originally were.
6. Once you are done with installing the playlists into the Media Hub, Cut and Paste them from the Watched Folder back into the temporary folder and proceed to the next playlist installation step.
7. Once you are done with all playlist installation steps, you can put all the playlists back into the watched folder.

NOTE A: TO APPLY A PLAYLIST TO ALL TEAMS IN THE SAME LEAGUE, WHEN BROWSING THE PLAYLISTS PRESS "Y" BUTTON

1. Apply Generic Home Penalty Playlist to All Teams in Each League (NHL, AHL, ELITSERIEN, SM-LIIGA, DEL, O2 EXTRALIGA, SUPERLIGA, NATIONAL, HISTORIC)
2. Apply Generic Home Win Playlist to All Teams in Each League
3. Apply Generic Away Goal Playlist to All Teams in Each League
4. Apply Generic Away Penalty Playlist to All Teams in Each League
5. Apply Generic Away Win Playlist to All Teams in Each League
6. Apply Generic Offplay Playlist to All Teams in Each League
7. Apply Generic Intermission Playlist to All Teams in Each League
8. Apply Team Specific Home Team Intro Playlists for All NHL Teams
9. Apply Team Specific Home Team Intro Playlists for All AHL Teams

I was hoping they'd fix the Be A Pro stats part. Nope. Again, if you don't get a point per game, you get docked.

Fun though, can't be as cheap as before, the skate in on the wing, deke the defender then go short side on the goalie doesn't really work anymore. Pretty good, although I got drafted by the freaking Kings. Resets ensue.

make it more than a hundred million..... I think there are at least tv time outs in every game haha

my 2nd game was against the oilers, where apparently free agents LOVE to sign and play in edmonton.

I fought as Bouwmeester, killed the guy, but I ended up with a broken nose, and now he's out for 2 weeks. Don't fight with Jaybo, he gets injured to much in the face.
