Just picked up mine over lunch at the EB Games in Deerfoot Meadows. I had a pre-order on the PS3 one, but they seemed to have tons of inventory in both PS3 and 360. Joe the manager there used to work at the South Centre EB and he's always on top of which games will be popular and ordering sufficient quantities.

It's probably Swine Flu. You better go see a doctor.

I hear there is something going around. You can never be to cautious, you don't want to infect your office with The Swine... go home and get some rest alright. You are doing your company a favour.

I want to hear Joe the Manager's take on the next federal election. Somebody get Lloyd Robertson and Peter Mansbridge to Deerfoot Meadows right now!

I called in sick, had a really bad tummy ache this morning
Finally the game has pass accuracy sliders! I dont know what took EA so long to incorporate this. No more laser ping pong passing from the CPU.

Trust me, it's still there. One of the games few down spots.
On the plus side, you can set the game "style," which means how difficult / accurate you want things to be. I usually set it to "casual" which allows for arcade type of action. However, die hard fans might want to set it to "hardcore" to allow for precision passing and highly-sensitive shot aim.

I found it, was able to change my height etc. It's in the My Pro thing on the main menu area before you start.

I really don't like the lag when selecting teams now that they added a little unnecessary animation.

THe ping pong CPU passing has to be gone, EA has added a ton of valuable sliders. Turn their pass accuracy to 0 and that should fix it.
I do love the manual passing though, it takes some getting used to but is sick. Ive always wanted this, being able to control the power of your pass...now you can!

I guess some of you missed this? Or have there been roster changes since yesterday?
I know might not have all the rookies in it yet, but still, that's pretty quick updating

How many of you are going to set the controls to classic controls? I have never really been fond of the skill stick. Maybe I'm just resistant to change and unwilling to adapt to the new controls. but I've always found the gameplay much more enjoyable using the bottons to pass and shoot.
Maybe it's also that I've been playing since '95 on the SNES, but even in 09 I went through and changed all of the buttons to the classic style. I just find it nice that there is a classic controller setup now, similar to using the classic camera angle.

It won't get the rookies until they play a regular season game, but just to get the roster moves is a huge step in the right direction. Usually they do both the roster moves and the rookies near the end of october.

yea, figured about the rookies. I just wanted to point out the quote from Jobo, as it was from yesterday, and even today there were still posts about how the rosters needed fixing from some people, so figured it was probably missed. It's pretty awesome that they have the correct rosters for game launch, as you used to always get stuck with the rosters from the last trade deadline.

Sweet Jebus I hate the EA Sportsworld ... thing. I've been trying to set it up to link to my ps3 for over a year now and everytime I try it tells me to play an ea game and wait for my email. One year later I'm just not sure if it's coming!
edit: It tells me to sign in at ea.com ... and yet I see no login area at ea.com.
