I haven't read through all 12 pages, but if its not been mentioned already, then Blackberries. Actually, it's not the Blackberries themselves that annoy me. It's the smug sense of self importance I see from the majority of the people using it when typing out their emails.

I'm amazed how many people at Flames games are busy texting the whole time, not once looking up to watch the game.

I'm confused.
Back a few months ago when I had facebook my relationship status was single and I chose to not list anything at all. I found it creepy and didn't want people asking me out, or inquiring, or just knowing stuff.. What's wrong with that?

I'm amazed that you would spend the whole game watching some dude text to make sure that they never looked up "not once"!

I wear sunglasses that are fairly large but not because I want to pretend I'm a diva. I don't wear them to hide my face from anything, I just wear them because I like them. Most people don't think that hard about why they wear what they wear. I wear them because I bought them, I bought them because they were at the store when I was looking for new sunglasses. That's all. Not to cover up my lack of self esteem. They're just sunglasses.

Nothing wrong with that. I just know people who take off their 'single' status, or put "friendship" or "networking" with it. I personally think this is lame, because if you do list that you're single, you want everyone to know what your status is and that you're available. If you don't list it, then you're covering your single status, and maybe not you but a ton of other people put "friendship" or "networking" so it looks more professional and less desperate than putting "dating, relationship, or whatever I can get." The same sort of deal applies to married or engaged statuses, where people are generally saying to everyone else "You see this? I have a ring on my finger! Infact, I'm so proud of it, I'm going to advertise it to everyone looking! I am off the market!"
I know it sounds bitter, but that's the way I see it, and that's the way alot of my friends do to. One of the many little nuances that annoy me about the site.
Even then, I have never understood why people need to know the martial status of others; I actually find that too personal to advertise, as Facebook blatantly does.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the big stupid looking sunglasses. It's be like me attaching a hockey visor to a ballcap or something, they both look ridiculous.
As for the people who don't like the Livestrong wristband thing, I wear mine because I believe in the cause. I raised a few thousand and actually got to ride with Lance last year. I don't wear it because it's some kind of fashion statement.

I think for a guy like you there's authenticity involved that that people that know you in real life see. I know that you bike to work from somewhere in the south just from all the time I spend here. If I knew you in person I doubt that I'd give your livestrong bracelet a second thought, so I'm sure that everyone else that knows you sees it more or less the same way.
That's not to say that you have to be an avid cyclist to be entitled to wear one of those things. It just bridges the gap.

Is it just me or do those Livestrong bracelets seem to be even more of a fad with the over 40 crowd than with youngins? They dont do it the same way, as sometimes you'll see teenagers wearin like 5 or 6 on one wrist, ridiculous. But they seem to be phasing out with the younger crowd. I dont see em around campus near as much as I used to. Yet almost every teacher seems to have one. I see em on tellers at the bank too, everywhere actually. They look so odd when combined with a suit.

Maybe because older people have had more experiences with cancer? I see it too, though. Less youngins wearing them these days.

I paid for and wore out two of the bands. I wore for the cause... Until all the things that took place between Armstrong and Crow. I have no respect for Lance Armstrong anymore, therefore I will never wear a 'LiveStrong' band again. I respect where the money goes, just not the face of the program.
I'll buy pink stuff that goes to breast cancer before buying something yellow that goes to LiveStrong.

it's a personal relationship, something Lance isn't the greatest at (and from the amount of relationships she's been in, Sheryl isn't either) , none of my business. The money still goes to Cancer.

Well to be fair, I DO LIKE how my parents have a new thing to do together. They're both in their mid to late 50's, and my Mom sings NIN.
