Interesting deal. Montreal gets the best two players in the trade, Pittsburgh gets more depth and a few swings on prospects.

I prefer the Habs take, but it's also more bullets in the chamber for the Rangers...the key here is for Iggy Jr to get healthy.

Fairly quick and easy deal. Skinner has been the better goalie and Bob is a UFA so wanted to get something back before the season progresses too much. Flames fans seem to love Schneider so I figured why not.

Cheese has sim magic so fairly sure he wins the cup with Bob in net.

We have been discussing Matthews / Fox with Goffie for a while. Then last night I was at the game chatting with Curtis and watching Bedard get 4 points and I realized its time to move on from Matthews as Bedard/Celebrini will be taking over. Not sure how much Curtis was drinking but he spoke highly of Frondell.

From our perspective I viewed this as Matthews for Frondell / Aho and Fox for 1st and Potter. We wanted to add some youth and always wanted to trade Fox away. Happy to accomplish both in this deal as we look to retool the squad after a slow start to the season.

This deal was off and on for a while. Paid for Curtis to have a few beer at the game and bang deal down.

I like to build a team and retool each season. This season I thought I did a great job of having a stacked prospect base and a really good performing team. The sim had different ideas and we have been struggling to string wins together and find ourselves near the bottom of the league.

I’m too impatient to wait another season so we made this deal to bolster or lineup and try to get into the playoff race before it’s too late.

This deal we found our team with an excess of D so we made a quick swap sending Ivan Provorov to Washington for the milk man.

Hopefully I wasn’t too late.
