Silovs was very good in round 1. The Canucks will be fine.

I never stopped to wonder if Oilers fans were delusional in ALL aspects of life, not just defying logic and common sense when discussing their hockey team:

Edmonton taught Vancouver everything they know.

If the playoffs were conference 1-8…Edmonton would have gotten Avs and then Knights/Stars.

Unfortunately the Canucks aren’t good and the Oilers are. This one is gonna be short

I don’t know if Canucks fans are aware of the fact that penalties can be called because they were missed in a previous season (Fiala), or if players like Draisatl can earn referees respect (Maclean), or even about the Mavi right of way espoused by Elliot Friedman (who btw wants a star based penalty call system like the nba).

On the other hand, it’s not even 15 years ago when the Canucks used similar tactics so there’s going to be some “at least (fill in Canucks players name) knew how to sell it.”

I feel that some matchups work better than others though. If Canucks can withstand the first period barrage in game 1, they might have a shot at winning in 6. Need a split at stink central though.

Hopefully a long series with lots of anger and aggression. Not cheering for injuries to be clear, just strong, aggressive playoff hockey.

Yeah, I thought I was going crazy when I read stang say that it was mostly peaceful. I remember it being a pretty hostile, out of control place with stories in the news quite often of fires, window smashing, battles with police, people getting hit with fireworks, ect.

Yeah it was never peaceful. Edmonton was a disgrace and still is. No wonder they sign losers like Kane, Perry and Hyman.

It’s all relative. It was relatively peaceful if you compare it to a regular night in Whyte Ave. All of those things you described are just normal Edmonton occurrences because they’re a bunch of degenerates. The playoffs only resulted in a slight uptick compared to normal.

Lol there was a video of people getting hit with fireworks.

Red Mile was how street parties should be done. "Copper Km" or whatever was the dumb and irresponsible version of that. And Vancouver's was the dumb and angry version.

I think the worst I heard out of the RM was people climbing things, noise and partial nudity.

It was pretty good but there was groping and some sexual harassment stuff that had to be addressed as well.

So we're packing the explosives underneath Rogers' place, I think we have enough to level the building, but I need some help getting the bombs out of the van, theres a lot of lifting to do.

Oh. That was supposed to be a PM.

Nevermind....

I just don’t know what to expect out of this series. The Nashville series was just a bit of a weird one, hard to get a read in it. Vancouver certainly played a low event game but nashville doesn’t have the top end talent that the oilers do so that will be trickier. Oilers defence and goaltending not likely to perform at Nashville level so there has to be more scoring. Question is which one wins out.

Do we have a schedule yet, or has McBaby not replied to the NHL about the days he is available?

Seems they're waiting to know who Colorado plays before we get west schedules. Must be some building availability differences between Dallas and Vegas that impacts what nights they put games on.

If Dallas wins they will have to schedule around the Mavericks who already have their schedule announced.

The media is clearly intoxicated on the Kool-Aid. I'm the furthest thing from a Canucks fan but this is pretty disrespectful to them given the season they had.

But they all know that the Oilers will get favorable officiating and their PP is their lifeblood. Gone are the days of the whistles being put away.
It actually seems like they might get more calls in their favor in the playoffs, but I have no clue if he stats support that, or if it's just my hatred for the Oilers.

He does run the monochrome cactus club from his house, and of course with Mitch and Austin with nothing else to do, they are going to be booking some hot tub time with Connor, and when honestly does the nhl expect him to redesign more of the all star game drills if not now. Plus the 8 foot ceiling basketball championships have to get scheduled in.

Hopefully this is just a small sample of media people to get booked for the humble pie restaurant.
