Great win and I’m very happy for them to complete the comeback. Especially happy for Stone and Lucic cause they could both use that boost - Stone because he just got back and Lucic because he has been struggling a lot.
Had Lucic not scored that goal I think there would have been a slight chance Sutter would sit Lucic and put Coronato in the lineup for the game against Chicago - even if the flames still won this game against Anaheim.
The game against Chicago is the first of a back-to-back (with the second game against Winnipeg for all the marbles). Tough turnaround with travel and playing the second game less than 24 hours after the first game. Could have been a good reason to rest a vet (Lucic) who has been struggling and put in a exciting young player who is itching to go and known for his high hockey IQ, scoring ability and strong defensive play. Plus there is hopefully the added benefit of Coronato getting the team and crowd excited early in the game for a young player playing his first NHL game. The flames have struggled against bad teams this year and often come out very flat against them. Coronato may be a spark for them. Lucic could go back in for the game against Winnipeg the next night.
Again, I don’t think it will happen now and I am very happy for Lucic to get that goal. I think he played his best game in weeks tonight.
I suppose there is a chance Dube might sit and Coronato could be put in for him. If feel Dube struggled a little bit the last few games and he has always responded well whenever he has been sat in the past. He’s working hard but has not been making many plays out there recently.
...and it's always posters like with low self-esteem who need validation on being a "better fan" by doing things like this.
We get it, you are a great fan! Feeling good now? The Flames were playing for their playoff lives and losing for a big chunk of this game - its okay to be frustrated. Banking in 3rd period comebacks isn't a recipe for success.
Curious. If I do recall, you, Moneyhands23 and bubbsy were the pre-season favourites based on last years results.
obviously the best way to enjoy a kids game is to let it make you constantly miserable, why didn't I realize this earlier!
Dude we get it. We have a group who are always negative and we have a group who are super positive, both jump all over each other. You don't have to respond to them, they don't have to respond to you, its a never ending cycle.
As somebody that is more critical of the org and team, more often that not, that doesn't make me miserable. We just have different perspectives/opinions. The forum is an outlet.
FFS, this is exactly what happened last time you guys did this wall of shame thing. Yeah, it's fun for you, we get it, and it calls people out for being negative.
But ultimately it led to exactly this, right away last time too. You guys know that. You may feel you're right or justified in doing it, but it leads to nothing but bitching and divisive tension between posters, when we're all supposed to be cheering for the same team. You know that, and yet here we are again. Like **** me.

I wasn't even aware their was a wall till this thread but it seems super childish and bully type behaviour. I'm surprised the mods are good with it.
I can't believe people don't understand everyone has a different perspective and opinion, well I guess I can cause that is common in all aspects of life. Debate and challenge people if you disagree with them but that is next level. We all want the Flames to be good and win a cup, people have differing opinions on how they can do that.

Again he wanted the wall of shame removed...
Boo hoo
Maybe think before you post
Didn't you challenge me to a fight for saying Huberdeau had a good game a few months
back lol. Opinions you say
Having a kids game make you constantly over the top angry is pretty dumb, seems like a bad hobby

Pretty ironic you of all people are telling me to think before I post. The hot head who jumps on every poster who has a different opinion as you.
I did not, you made a remark about me being in Toronto and I followed up with actually I'm in Calgary, the way you take it isn't actually how it is.
Again, I'm not miserable or angry. I'm stating an opinion on a fan forum about my favourite team. I'm not the type to blindly just agree or wave the pom poms at everything they do, those days are long gone, and I'm sure a lot of people on here who post negativity aren't mad either. We give our perspective whether good or bad, you seem to be the one angry at anybody and everybody who says anything remotely critical of the team or has a different opinion of you.
You can count on Dino to be the first one in the PGT after a win to call out anybody who had anything critical to say either in GDT or GT.

Lots of people lately that seem confused by the idea that if you post an opinion on a message board people might respond to it or even disagree with it.
“This person is always responding to posts!”
“These people all disagreed with this person!”
Ah, the magic of watching someone discover a message board’s basic function.
