Wall of Shame is like ATL. It means the Flames won. So… it’s all good.

If they do make the playoffs, I actually their chances. I think just getting to turn the page on the regular season would allow them to mentally reset. Keep in mind that the Flames lost a lot of points this season because of the shootout and 3-on-3 OT. Those things don't exist in playoffs. Extra frames have had a huge impact on the standings.

The Flames would still be the underdog, but I don't think they would get blown out of the water like some are saying.

Lindholm and Kadri were off tonight.

They’ll need all hands on deck for the Wpg game.

The Flames have been blown out of the water like 3 times this season

I could not recall, when did the Sutter coached Kings made the playoff where they won their first cup? It was late in the season, wasn't it?

they will fall apart against the Kings or Knights. The skid will be games 83 to 86, then it will be Back to Back to Back sweeps.

The presence of veteran winners plus the chance to reset, and with Sutter behind the bench who is one of very few coaches in history to take an 8th seed all the way, it wouldn't be an ideal match for a top seed - particularly Minnesota or Vegas, IMO (Flames won both of those season series). You know that many of these guys who've been sleepwalking most of the year would turn it on.

Facing an inconsistent Jets team would probably be preferrable for that team.

Every one knows the Flames' season was essentially handicapped by the huge amount of change and the subsequent adjustment period for new players.

The depth players on this team are really doing everything they can to try and overcome the abysmal goaltending and sub-par top line players.

Goalies yes

Toffoli has been the Flames best player lately and its not even close

Tonight
Toffoli 2 points
Kari 2 points
Mangiapane Goal
Huberdeau Assist

Top players have been good lately...big team efforts though for sure but that is how the team is built. Imagine they had goaltending!

We get it, you are a great fan! Feeling good now? The Flames were playing for their playoff lives and losing for a big chunk of this game - its okay to be frustrated. Banking in 3rd period comebacks isn't a recipe for success.
Your post is dripping with irony. We get it! You are a better fan because you're not some biased fan that just cheers for their team, you have an adept hockey mind that can see how terrible the team is. Feeling good now?

If people want to throw out opinions they should be ready to accept counter opinions. You and many others have constant negative takes. Thats fine, you're free to do so. If people think yours or other users opinions are worthy of a wall of shame that highlights the overtly negative opinions that's their freedom to do so as well.

I would actually love to see you express your similar freedom and post a counter to that. A positive "wall of shame". Like look at all these people that said positive things about the Flames on a Calgary Flames message board. You're more than welcome to do so.

put me on the wall of homer...that'll teach me!

obviously the best way to enjoy a kids game is to let it make you constantly miserable, why didn't I realize this earlier!

It's fair to talk about why we think the Flames have underperformed and still hope that they win when there's a game going on. That's the type of fan I am.

Great pickups. Treliving bucking the usual trend of fringe deadline acquisitions that don't budge the needle or settle in fast enough to make a difference.

That it was a hockey deal and didn't cost them future assets is even better.

Tip of the (wizard) hat to Tree. Part of me hopes this isn't the last of his magical moves on behalf of the Calgary Flames.
