Why was Duehr scratched? Makes no sense. He’s legit better than like the entire bottom 6 over the last month.

Go got rocked pretty hard in his last game so I wouldn't be surprised if that had something to do with it if he is nursing something

I am usually pretty critical of posts that complain about how easy and obvious choices are on the ice. We have a whole different view of the plays from up high and the game is so fast when you see it from ice level.

That said, Kadri surely must have been given video of all these missed opportunities. Or maybe the coaching isn’t good in that regard?

All these people advocating getting rid of the coach. Fair enough. But what none of them are acknowledging is that this automatically means the removal of the GM. How could he possibly keep his job, if he's both mismanaged the team, and once again... mismanaged the selection of a coach. A more expensive coach at that.

He simply cannot make that move.

As for the owners, they have an example, as recently as last year, of the team having great success, under the same coach.

I just don't see Treliving pulling the trigger on a new coach, knowing it could mean his job as well.

I see a whole new regime next year anyway, just ride out the season at this point. Make the playoffs great don’t make it Atleast it’s a decent pick in a deep draft.

There’s a decent amount of people on here that are done with both Treliving and Sutter

Sutter talks about video but when you watch the games it's hard to believe unless the video sessions are mainly focused on coverage which wouldn't be shocking.

They talk a lot about analytics but the only one we seem to be deeply in tune with is corsi numbers.

If you believe the stories going around at the time, Sutter was not Tre's hire...he was Murray Edwards' hire.

If that is true, the only way the fans can "fire" the owner (and we are the only ones who can) is to stop going to games, buying jerseys and providing him with revenue. At least enough to make a point.

Who has the worst plus/minus on the team. Lucic? Nope - it's Kadri

I disagree. Many posters are often saying he flat out can't pass.

Maybe it's just semantics and the verbiage doesn't matter, because I agree his decision making isn't good or at the very least doesn't gel with Huberdeau, but I'd say Kadri has made some of the nicest assists on the team this year.

It’s because he doesn’t. He’s a mercenary, like the large majority of them. Looked to cash in on a career year, mission accomplished, and now we get to watch these two guys float around for 8 years. Yay.

I was unhappy when Treliving had a status quo trade deadline (but glad flames didn’t lose picks).

I was disappointed that the team chose that moment to start to win.

Once they got one win, and then another, and then looking at “strength of schedule”, I was like…okay, maybe this can work and play to win.

But now with this performance and this result…im back in on tanking. All in on tanking. I’d comforted myself that losses would happen and flames could afford 5 of them. How do the flames follow up games where they belong in the top quarter of the standings with losses against bottom teams? The fact that this keeps happening tells me that it’s not a run of fluke results.

I’m not against people that think that the flames can make the playoffs. Good luck to them!

I know now that there is something wrong and I’d rather a shot at a lotto ticket than finishing in 9th.

The only thing separating Kadri from elite forward is his decision making. So many times you’re left thinking “what are you doing!?” when he touches the puck.

Treliving dosen't have a contract in place past this season. This was his last kick at the can and it went poorly. He can go with Sutter.

A new GM usually cleans house.
