not going to defend DOPS, cause I think its crap. However, Landeskog has been suspended at least three times that I know of, for 2, 3 and 4 games. The last one was for a cross check to Tkachuk's neck

IF by hearing they mean phone hearing. Usually I see them specify telephone hearing. And of course, these days, it’s all videoconference anyway.

you can't honestly think Coleman's was worse
anyway...okay job by the NHL surprised he got 2 but considering his history of 4 suspensions it probably should have been 3-5 at least
I hope this is the new normal with less randomness, hopefully next time Tom Wilson bounces someone's head of the ice he gets something.

The big difference is that Dach was in that dangerous 6ish feet from the boards when the hit happened. Coleman hit his man while he was already up against the boards

Taking six or seven strides to deliver a dirty hit is far more dangerous and pre-meditated than leaning into a guy who just fell down.

7 strides and 20 feet vs...not even one stride and 2 feet...wonder which one had a harder impact
at least Landeskog got something but its his FIFTH suspension
two games is pretty darn light if Coleman is the new standard IMO
