I feel like Monahan is really hurting the top line. Who can replace him while he heals or gets his deamons out? Not Ryan, his line is excellent.

Maybe its time to put Lids at C and add a RW on the top line. Dube? Quine? Anyone who skates really

Lindholm hasn't looked much better.

Monahan with the Blake Comeau hands and Lucic skating tonight. Needs to get his feet moving.

They need to get out of whatever this is together. There no replacing Monny on the top line. Ryan did well enough but they have time to work it out.

I too am concerned with Monny but I also think they can get hot just before the end of the season. They also get a week off before round 1 I think.

I agree. Both have been sub par. But he still skates. Monny is not wired for skating. It's unfortunate, but if he isnt scoring he is invisible.

They're not gonna sit a 76 point top line C. Unless he's injured, which I highly doubt, they're gonna let him play through it.

I still think Monahan has a nagging injury. Thanks for the compliment.

I'm fully confident that when the playoffs start, Monahan will be ready to go. He has 7 goals and 11 points in 15 career playoff games. The guy brings it when the games really matter. I have zero problem if he's conserving his energy and keeping himself from getting injured (further injured?) in meaningless games against the L.A. Kings of all teams.

Monny will be fine. He's probably one of the most clutch players I've seen on this team in over 20+ years. He'll be ready come game 1 of the playoffs.

I almost vote for putting Tkachuk-Monahan-Lindholm together or Tkachuk-Lindholm-Monahan,

Monahan will be fine. He's a big game player, these games are meaningless to him. First game of the playoffs and he'll get a hatty. Book it.

I was thinking the same thing, watching him. He was all world again for the first 40-50 games. I think he's got some nagging injury stuff that's wearing out again.

Lowest scoring center on the team since the all-star break
