Flames played Gulutzan hockey in that period. Lots of shots but did many of them really scare the Kings?
Time to improve on the transition and find more trailers on the rush. All this game needs is a couple quick goals in Calgary's favour and I don't think it'll be in doubt for much longer after that.

Kind of a disappointing period. Not sure what's going on with Monahan but with the playoffs looming maybe Peters needs to swap him and Ryan for a game to see if it lights a fire as it seems the first line simply isn't working right now.

Well, at least Smith showed up tonight. Peters isn't gonna be pleased with that period. I expect we'll see a much better 2nd from everyone.
Just need to kill off these penalties first.

Might be the worst period i have seen from Monahan ever. Screwed up every time he had the puck other than 1 pass.
Really not liking his game.

He is trending down fast and we cannot go into playoff with him playing like this. It has to be fixed soon

That was a pretty good period from Monahan actually, he at least completed one pass which is more than usual, and he had one good chance in the slot
Can’t wait for him to decide to stop sucking, just hope it comes before they’re down in a playoff series

Weird to think Benny stirs the drink a bit for the team. I think he is definitely missed.
If he and Neal can round into their nasty forms, playoffs could be hell for the opposition.

Bennett has stirrex the drink for at least 10+ games and Flames record is just fine during that span.
