Hey White Out 403... do you seriously think that, during all of the Jets' short-handed situations, they never did anything that was also technically a penalty that could have been called, to create a 4 on 3?

Whining about a marginal situation like that, when there are literally dozens of them on both sides every night, makes you a whiner.

Oh, and me pointing that out does not in fact make me a whiner. And it is not ironic. Good try though.

It's a bold move posting slow motion weak sauce non calls.

Unfortunate for the Jets they did nothing with the actual PP's they did get.

You're over the loss, except your not.

Those tears coming from Portage and Main are delicious.

The Jets would've won if it weren't for those no-good Flames players!

Ah yes, the good old "Moneysense rankings" argument. Actually, it's not good because it's cheap: it's cheap because it sucks.
Using that outlook and looking from Shanghai, I could easily say the same about Calgary. To each their own.

The important thing is how ridiculous Johnny sometimes makes people look and how easily he does it.

There was a trip along the boards on Monahan during a Flames PP that I thought should have been called, but I guess the officials didn’t want to give the Flames a 5 on 3 at that time either.

Hey, I think we all get it, missed calls are frustrating, and it absolutely could’ve been a turning point if they gave the Jets a 5 on 3 there. Unfortunately it happens almost all the time, and it is easy to look the other way at calls that could have gone the other way that weren’t called. But when your team wins, it’s just part of the game, and when your team loses we need to fix the officiating.

Guys. He is a CP'er and pointed out a play that had it gone the other way could have had a substantial impact on the game. It was a throwaway comment and we asked for proof. He provided it in spades. Clearly should have been a penalty. Hardly makes him a whiner. I think he has taken a bad loss really well and is at least here unlike lots of other fan bases who yap an then turn to vapour. Maybe tap the brakes a bit?

Hanifin should accidentally-on-purpose goon it up more often if this many jimmies are rustled. Gave Matthew a run for his money last night, lol.

I have to say Big save Dave scares me. If that was Smith Jets win for sure. Left before the slash but that should be a game. Can't hammer guys like that especially star players. Hope there's no injury.

This is Oilers-fan-level stuff right here. Lose? Blame the officials? Par for the course.

This stuff evens out at the end of the day. Did we maybe get away with minor infraction? Probably, but a penalty has to be pretty egregious to result in a 5 on 3.

Have we also been the victim of poor/non-calls? Absolutely. Backlund should’ve been awarded an EN goal in the Minny game. His breakaway was even more obvious than Ehlers, when Ehlers completed his hat trick the other night. Benefit Winnipeg. Backlund also ended up concussed as a result of the non-call. We also got boned on the Dallas OT goal, that was obviously goaltender interference and then had a goal of ours reversed in Edmonton that was an eerily similar play to the Dallas’ allowed goal.

If you want to go through every game with a fine toothed comb you can find dozens of potential missed calls. Suck it up.
