Is it just me or does Stajan SUCK on the PK now.

He's too slow, way to slow. But it's not just his skating but he's too slow on his reads and reactions.

I think it's tough to judge until we see him with a mobile partner like Bennett, Jankowski, Hathaway or Lazar on the PK.
Stajan - Brouwer as a pair are a disaster though.

I just imagine this team with Byron on it instead of Brouwer and instead of Stajan on the PK. Give us Byron back Bergevin you knob.

Good solid win for a team that looks like it's turning the corner. The 3rd line is really good, and it's going to be tough to figure out if Jagr should be back with them, or on another line. Kind of a heartbreaking decision to make since I credit Jagr with turning them around, but there's no denying Hathaway is a fantastic fit. Good problem to have.

The Backlund line is a posession monster. Frolik had 4 shots in the first period and 7 in the game.
And some of you want to DEMOTE HIM for that performance?
Sorry gang, that line works just fine. No messing with it.
Jagr goes to the 3rd line when he's back. Hathaway to the 4th. When Jagr needs a break after a powerplay then you bump Hathaway up for a shift or two.

I'd be okay for a lifetime ban for any idiot who suggested we should trade him.
People that suggest crap like that make CP unbearable sometimes.

Wow, I’m now getting a Hamonic Jersey. Just watched After Hours and the TSN special with Hamonic.
Huge respect for him for what he went through and what he is now doing for others.

Don’t you think there is a differences between say waiving someone and trading them? There is not an untradeable player on this team IMO.

Bennett is pretty untradeable right now. 21 years old, on a sweet contract, and potential teams would kill for.
Why wouldn't you let him ride out his contract and give him a chance. Patience is a virtue with young players.
But, if you have a decent argument to make as to why someone should be traded, fine....but there were a lot of idiots on here that wanted to throw Bennett under the bus because he wasn't preforming up to THEIR expectations.

So much win in that Bennett clip. I like the reaction of the 2 Canuck fans behind the net. They clap and hold their arm up in praise of their team when the Flames don't score in that flurry of chances. Bennett scores, one holds his hands to his head like it was shot and the other turns around and slams the seat.
