Not trying to be all politically correct, but there's a big difference between Muslim support and Al Qaeda/terrorist support.

I'm following this on a pile of different boards/groups/newsites and aside from the taxis giving free rides home, I've read about people saying to open up their doors to those knocking to get away from everything. That's awfully brave of people, to open their doors, not knowing for sure who the person on the other side actually might be.

So this now leads to the question, if this is an ISIS organized event.

Do you now designate ISIS as a legitimate foreign entity.

If you do that then France has now been attacked by a foreign country, which under NATO means that all members have to respond as if it's an attack on their own soil.

I'm sure that France will be addressing NATO on this sooner rather then later.

Nato could ignore Turkey when they started down this road, but I doubt that they can ignore France.

^Still too early to speculate.

Map of the areas attacked:

It's going to be pretty hard to claim this from an international law standpoint if the terrorists end up being homegrown, and especially since ISIS is not recognized as a state.

Are ISIS and Al Queda the same entity now?

Because to my eyes this looks like a well thought out, organized plan and I'm not too up on ISIS' known tactics. Reeks of Al Queda is what I am getting at.

Fox News is claiming that a third man is in custody and claims to be both Syrian and a member of ISIS.

Could be complete bull, but there it is.

I really love hearing stories about people/country unifying like that. It's a shame that far too often it's a tragedy (dare I say catastrophe today) that causes it.

Horrific news. Absolutely terrible.

So weird thing. The area around state de France is mostly African immigrants the large swath of which are Muslim. Maybe with the game they thought they'd get a different crowd around the area as that area is also the opposite of affluent but those who can afford a soccer match probably are

Given France's history and stance on terrorism...seems kinda like poking the bear.

Thank Hank for streaming - I've switched to the aforementioned France24 because CNN is ridiculous and of course they have the ever bleating Blitzer going on and on and saying the most ridiculous things.

Police official states that attackers in Bataclan used explosives on hostages.

Other sources now stating that arrested perpetrator has said he is part of ISIS.

No, they are against each other, enemies

The BBC just aired a clip outside the Bataclan where you could clearly hear explosions and automatic weapons.

No they are two separate entities unless my info is out of date.

While they're not actively fighting each other they are not working together.

We won't know until we find out what France knew prior to this event (cell phone intercepts, who the attackers were, were they under surveillance)

On top of that, nobody has claimed responsibility yet, that leads me to worry that more is to come tonight.

As well, my thought is that the next smartest attack would be at the G-20 in Turkey.

CTV just had Mercedes Stephenson and she's done an outstanding job in terms of summarizing everything.
