Amazon seems to be hit or miss for me lately when it comes to pre-orders. NHL 16 was late shipping by a couple of days and was shipped from Ontario so I didn't get it until a week after release while WWE 2K16 was shipped the night before from Richmond so I had it on release day.

I received Halo 5 on release day from Amazon and should be getting Fallout 4 (PS4) and Tomb Raider (XB1) tomorrow although I won't be too upset if they are late as I'm still playing Halo 5 and Metal Gear Solid and would like to finish those prior to playing these games. I simply don't have the time I used to for playing games as I used to. Damn kids and job.
I just spoke to a rep through their chat app and was told it was shipping tomorrow. She claimed I would receive it by the end of the day, guaranteed. For the best as I'll be working anyways.
Honestly, 30 FPS should be the minimum. Look at that gif where the Xbone version literally stops. That is unacceptable. They should have cut back the resolution or reduced detail in order to maintain 30 FPS if they couldn't figure out how to optimize it properly.
There will be patches to fix that. We just have to accept that many of the AAA titles are shipped only partially finished. When is the last time you popped in a new game and there wasn't a day one update? It seems to be pretty standard now that going gold means "functional enough for retail" and that developers focus on optimization right into and after release day.

No, we really don't. It starts and ends with us as consumers.

The only option is a mass boycott of certain games. Good luck getting people on board with that.
All games have warts, 99% of the time you can overlook them. Things like the fps dipping momentarily once in a while isn't going to register with most people.
I only played for about two hours so far. Absolutely thrilled with the game. I got to live out a dream I've had since 2011. Seeing Boston get nuked into oblivion.

What, you guys nuking your own city wasn't enough?
Also if your dream is watching a city of 650,000 people get nuked, there's a problem
