Now it's Steve Tambellini's fault.

oh, and the game may have been different tonight if Anton Lander had played.

I got a good one too, if no one has used it yet.

It's not a matter of if, but when the Oilers win the Stanley Cup.

Oilers would have to play .647 to get 96 pts

And 96 might not be enough this year.

This is where their opponents so far this year currently sit in league standings. Bold are their wins.

Rob Brown: can't judge Dallas Eakins until the Oilers dress a full line-up.

How often does a team ever have a completely healthy lineup?

That would make a great sigline.

Diffrence between Oilers and Flames right there.

The Flames have been hit really hard with injujries so far but you wouldn't know it because they keep battling and don't make excuses.

It's the same thing with the Oilers every year. Injuries, blah blah blah..

So refreshing to cheer for an organization with pride and dignity.

It's time for the NHL to seriously consider the concept of relegation to the AHL for franchises that are perpetually at the bottom of the standings.

Just curious what point you are making here... (are you supporting them or adding t my point?)

Those team rankings average out at 14.6 by the way, so average. And the Oilers have 8 of a possible 28 pts.

Does Han Solo have NHL experience? Doesn't matter... sign him for 7 years $42 million.

Problem. Solved.

I was referencing a quote from oilers fan on CHED who thought they had a tough sched, but as you say it is totally average. 5 top 10 teams, 5 bottom 10 teams.

For 96 points, they should have 16.5 points right now. They are less than halfway there.

They are on pace for 47 points. The Flyers managed 56 points in 60-07 (lowest since shootouts).

No team has even had less than 50 since 2000 when the Bettman point came into play. If anyone can do it...

"Game of inches"

"Oilers are close"

"At the end of the season there's not much difference between 12th and 4th"

It's because they're from Edmonton, and actually think an MBA means something. This FedEx commercial represents what I think of 98% of people I've met who have an MBA.

Lowe and MacTavish should have their 5 and 4 stanley cup rings welded together into brass knuckles, and punch themselves repeatedly in the face until they "get it".

At least that's how I'd feel were I an Oilers fan.
