just finished watching the game on PVR now.
Was pretty pissed after the 2nd, but how can anyone not be happy with the way that turned out, solid 3rd period, and good on these guys to get the comeback win.
i can't wait for baertchi to be back. i have no issue in watching the flames win or lose, but having the kid in the game gave me so much excitement to watch.
curious to see what this team looks like on a back to back. I really think the flames only have as "good" a record as they do thanks to their schedule, (ie. only can beat decent teams when they are on a back to back). wondering how the flames come out tomorrow.

I still stand by my opinion that the flames gotta do something about the goalie.

Well you usually win when the lower end of your roster gets you 3 goals. If the depth guys can start scoring, it will help the team.

Also, to play a bit of armchair GM here, take Babchuk out, call up Breen for the #6 spot and I'm a happy camper.

I'd be all for that. Only because of this:

For sure. We can only hope that Harley and the coaching staff can get Jones turned in the right direction. I still think there's a place on the Flames for Jones.

As a Flames fan, I found it was an emotional but fun game to watch. Going down 3-1 and then having the team come back in the final frame was awesome.

Haven't seen such a gutsy and character comeback win from the Flames in a long time. Even though problems still persisted (ie not a full 60-minute game), getting 2 points from tonight was sweet. We are now 3-1-1 on the road.

It is nice to see our boys win on the road when being down by two. But can they win consistently? I expect another poor performance next game and again below 0.500.

And yeah, Sean Kelso getting all the love from Hudler and Cammalleri, who continued his theme from his intermission chat with Roger Millions about honey.

Better offensively, same defensively. Overall therefore better, but let's not engrave the Norris

This is somewhat true, he does look better defensively although still not as good as he could be on the backend. Wideman I still think has been our best overall D-man but Bouw is really starting to take over. Not to mention he really can take over games with his skill, since the Oilers game he's been pretty solid. I love the fact that we can even have the debate about who's the best D-man on this team, much better than arguing over who's the worst.
Although Wideman has looked awesome with that big shot and is the best PP QB we've had since.....wow, since who? Bouw is starting to take over and if he keeps skating around the ice like has been doing, then this guy can be pretty special. Can't blame CP for getting excited about this.
Remember when Irving shut down the nucks last season 3-1 at GM Place, ending our Drought against the nucks. Well I found the boxscore of that game:
http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nhl/boxscore?gid=2011122322
I remember after that game I was telling everyone how Bouw had a "lidstrom-like" performance, just played a perfect game and was up against the Sedins all night. It was his defensive game that really stood out, he just played very smart positional hockey. I know he can be the man like that, when you're that good of a skater at that size you're bound to figure it out eventually. Here's hoping Jay-Bo has!

McDonald was great last night. He was like a little good luck fairy perched on the shoulder of every Flame wearing a red jersey.
