Yes, the first time the portal opened he showed he could change his name. Second time, we had 3 people with the name "GGG" in different capitalization and variants in the portal. It does appear anyone could write any name and then type, there's no real way to confirm if the person is who they say they are.

The first time the portal opened, only MOT #1 was there and said he wasn't sure if MOT #2 was available. Looking at my screenshots, it appears the portal opened at 7:23pm and MOT #2 made an appearance at 7:40pm with the portal closing 5 minutes after that.

For the second portal, both MOT #1 and #2 were present from the start.

I registered my MOT1 name, so I do not think anyone can duplicate it (not sure though). Also, I do get advanced access, but I am not allowed to post before the link is released. However, I just keep hitting refresh until maz posts, and I have my first post ready to go, so I just hit submit.
Also, I cannot give the link to MOT2, which is why they post after me.
And yes, twilight will still go on if I am alive.

Yes, but registered users have a star beside their name. MOT1 had a star so if MOT1 still has a star we know it is the same MOT1 posting. If he posts I am Starseed then I beleive we have verified that MOT1 is starseed.

This may or may not be against the spirit of the game.

I believe Starseed is MOT#1. I just don't see why that would prove anything about his alignment. The confusion caused by the MOT thread seems more mafia oriented than town. From suggesting they weren't players in the town, to the cryptic talking with the dead posts, just seemed like a way to cause as much confusion and distraction as possible.

Timbo, I think you might be on your last legs here. Might want to consider making a final post if you have anything else to say.

I hadnt fully decided one way or the other, but I missed the deadline due to emergency @ client site so it was a moot point.

Would have been nice to have a Vig kill for daytime use, easily provable if it works or not, and valuable in case we ever got behind and needed an extra kill but didnt have time.

First we thought Eternals in day, Guardians at night. But that got changed.

Then we thought that Eternals stopped while we knew where the Guardian invites were.

I'm back to thinking the invites are coming from the same person. Unless we can confirm there was an overlap in invites. If not that's just another good reason to ignore them, in my opinion.

I still say squiggs is the smart vote.

Was just sent an invite from the Guardians, offering a similar, yet not as useful power. Note, they did specify that it could not be used on Guardians, so maybe that is a hint to why they might be ineffective?

I dont have time to review right now, who previous targets of 'failed' abilities are, or which faction they belonged to.

I don't really have a problem with lynching Timbo (I have no strong feelings about him really), but none of his posts have screamed mafia at me. I see him as an overzealous, possible egotistical (please don't take this personally, I mean in the context of the game) player who has a real passion for the game. I'll only vote for him if we happen to drop below deadline lynch votes.

With it looking like Starseed will survive the day, I'm going to switch my vote back to Girlysports, my top suspect, for the purpose of getting people to think about it for tomorrow. Rathji now has his vote there, and mrkajz and Hockeyguy (possibly others as well) have expressed suspicion.
